My general contractor hired Ortega's as a sub-contractor to remove wood siding from my house and re-stucco the walls. The stucco job was very professional and excellently done. The only problem was the clean-up afterward, which was okay but not better than that. They washed off their stucco tools in my yard, so a lot of the dirt has stucco in it. They also stomped some plants so hard that they died, and they got stucco on others that won't come off. They also stepped on a sprinkler bubbler and broke it. They never mentioned that to me, but maybe they didn't notice that they did it. Overall I really like the work but not the clean-up. My general contractor hired Ortega's as a sub-contractor, so I don't know exactly how much they were paid by the GC. Update two months later: I mentioned that they washed off the stucco tools in my yard, and now all the plants in those areas has died. An arborist told me that stucco mix has lime in it and it kills plants, so I will need to re-plant.
