I had problems with rats getting into the attic and contracted with Thomas Wildlife to make changes on my roof to prevent rats from getting in. Brandon was very professional with his presentation and was clear about the work that he would complete. He kept his appointments as scheduled. Since I am not a roofer or a pest control expert I was unfamiliar with the modifications that would need to be made. When I asked him how long it would take to complete Brandon indicated that it would take a couple of men a day or so to finish the work. The work actually only required 4 1/2 hours to complete for one worker plus 1 hour for an assistant. The total cost of the work came to over $3,000. After calculating for the cost of materials that meant I was charged over $500 an hour. This is more than the hourly rate for lawyers or doctors. Ultimately I felt the charges were excessive for the skills required for the roofer making repairs. It is disappointing to be overcharged for services of this kind.

The skunk was trapped and removed. The fee for trapping was $175.00, regardless of results. Removal of any trapped animals was $75.00 each. He re-baited the trap and caught a possum and we paid for removal of both of these (total cost was $325.00) and I decided to see if any more skunks would show up. He therefore re-baited with the wrong bait (trail mix instead of sardines in oil). Result was we caught a squirrel - he knew we had squirrels, thus the use of sardines. I released the squirrel and re-baited with sardines. Caught another possum but released it since possums were not the problem. Called to discontinue service and asked him to pick up the trap. It's been 2 weeks and several calls later, but the trap sits in our back yard, un-baited and not set. Would do it all differently but responsiveness was truly sub-optimal. Believe owner - or employee - has a lot of irons in fire, ergo the low responsiveness.

Thomas Wildlife provides outstanding service and work. I called them to do an inspection when another rodent exclusion company (one whose ads you may have seen in local magazines) failed to solve my rodent problem within the 1 year contract time that was about to end. Brandon & Nick found several areas that the other company had listed as areas in need of fixing and charged me for, but never actually sealed off. After my contract with the old company expired,  the rats were still running around the attic, so I hired Thomas Wildlife to take over. They charged me $700 for reinspecting the house, doing numerous additional repairs, properly fixing areas that had been only partially sealed by the previous company and 3 follow up visits. Those 3 follow up visits were extremely thorough and Brandon must have spent hours at each one trying to find  entry points that he might have previously missed. Any additional repairs during those visits were done free of charge. I feel we got a very good deal for our money. Brandon is very honest, careful not to overpromise, a hard worker, extremely professional and he truly cares about fixing the problem. He is also by far more knowledgeable than any of the 2 other pest control management companies that I had hired in the past to deal with our rodent issue. Thomas Wildlife Control is a rare gem and I highly recommend them.

A Skunk did a lot of digging in the moist parts of the flower bed areas still being watered with the drip irrigation system.  Brandon has a good knowledge of animal behavior and knew a good area to place the trap.  It was nice to have the rapid response from Thomas Wildlife Control to come by the house to pick up the captured skunk on the same day they received notice.

"Were sorry you feel that way. We told you up front your 2 options. It's a flat rate for a temporary one-way door and to remove all your skunks from under your house."

Brandon provided excellent service.  He is professional, knowledgeable, and efficient.  I called Thomas after hearing critters in the attic.  Brandon inspected the house and determined it was most likely squirrels.  He sealed the entry point and other potential access points.  I have not heard any activity since the work was performed.  I will call Thomas for the next problem.

I called Thomas Wildlife after hearing critters in my attic. The initial assessment found signs of rats in the attic and a skunk under the house...yuck! Within a week the problem was taken care of, and at a reasonable price. A contractor working on my roof checked things out, and said Brandon and his crew did good work.

Just go out and hire Brandon Thomas now. You aren't going to find anyone better. Brandon , the owner of Thomas Wildlife, is reliable, fair,  punctual, and knows everything about getting rid of skunks. We had not been able to sit out on our back porch, open our windows at night, or even go out in the evening to pick basil in our garden because of a constant skunk smell, skunk encounter problem. Brandan quoted us a fair price, came to our home, and put a have-a-heart trap in our backyard. We caught a skunk in the that night, only to discover in the morning that 4 other skunks were hovering around the trap! Brandan came, removed the trapped skunk, and put out two more traps. We caught the rest of the skunks, which he also removed. Then he nailed boards around the foundation of our garden shed which had been the skunks' den, and patched a hole in our back fence where the skunks had been getting in. Given the work he did and the circumstances (five skunks!) my husband and I  felt that his price was fair, and he never varied from his original quote. If you only have one skunk to get rid of and don't want him to do carpentry work to exclude skunks, you are going to pay around $250. Subsequent skunks are $75 each.

We did not catch anything the first night but the trap was tripped.  He came out and adjusted the traps & reset them  We ended up catching a very large possum and a skunk.  Both of these animals were being very destructive in my vegetable garden.

Brandon and his partner came out because I had a opossum that was living in my roof.  Mind you, I had already had ANOTHER Angie's List pest control company out here who refused to believe me that I had a possum.  After they confirmed it, they told they couldn't deal with a possum and had no idea who I could even call. I eventually tracked down the wildlife "remover" for Sacramento County--almost impossible to get a hold of, doesn't return calls, AND told me to "go out after midnight and retrofit a covering for the space in my roof to keep the possum from getting in."  I did that ((which was incredibly difficult)) and it still didn't solve my problem.  I'd finally had it after countless nights of loss of sleep.  I happened to come across Brandon's website online and took a chance.  They came out, inspected my entire roof, sealed up the potential spots, and gave me advice on other preventative maintenance I should do.  I encouraged Brandon to get onto Angie's List so other homeowners who find themselves in my position can actually find someone RELIABLE and PROFESSIONAL to help us out.   Hopefully, with Brandon's advice and help, I won't have to use his services again but I would HIGHLY recommend his services to my friends and neighbors.
