My Favorite Pet Sitter

She comes twice a day and feed and plays with the cat. She brings in the mail and news paper and water the plants. She made sure the lights were turned off.

Sandy was on time and provided the services she promised. She left and evaluation for each day and send pictures of our dog.
I would recommend her services.

We have been using My Favorite Pet Sitter for over a year and highly recommend their services. We have two cats that we prefer to leave at home in their familar surroundings while we travel on vacation. For each trip, I arrange for the appointment online and receive a confirmation email from Janet when everything has been scheduled. We have been fortunate to have the same sitter take care of our cats. One of our cats probably prefers when we go vacation because she gets lots of attention while we are gone.

We have never used a pet sitting service other then My Favorite Pet Sitter and don't have a point of comparison for the price, however, we keep coming back.

Great service overall - the dogs love our sitter, and she frequently spends extra time with them for no extra charge.

I think they're dependable and they did what they said tehy would do. They were very caring about the cats. They wanted to make sure we turned on the air conditioning because it was hot and they also wanted to make sure we gave her a call when we would get back so the cats would have someone to take care of them. This was extraordinary.

We picked My Favorite Pet Sitter based on Angie's List recommendations and the membership in the National Association of Pet Sitters. We had an appointment with Janet (owner) and Sandy (our sitter) prior to our trip to meet our cats, go over their care including some medical requirements for the senior fur and to give them the keys to our apartment. On our return, we found a note from Sandy describing her interaction with the cats and who she was able to pet and brush and who just stared at her. We had warned Sandy that the senior fur took some time for her to warm up to people. The cats were waiting for Sandy by the door when she arrived. We plan to use their pet sitting service for our next trip. I rated the price as a 'B' because this was the first time we used a pet sitting service and I don't have a point of comparison for the price. Previously, a friend took care of the cats.

Initially met w/ Janet to discuss needs. She related well to the dogs we would be taking with us, and we felt she would be a good resource for shorter trips if we left the dogs home. We received regular reports via email while we were travelling. Reports also included photos of rare snow event during our trip. key retrieval was quite easy by picking up from lock box.

My Favorite Pet Sitter (MFPS) provides an extremely reliable service. I like that I can set up a sitting appointment online and specify what type of service need per visit. I always get an invoice before they begin (in fact they ask for payment before service date). I've had a few different pet sitters from MFPS and they are consistently dependable and caring. They do an especially good job handling cats, and are probably very good with other pets too. I like that they always leave a note for me about how the cats behaved while I was away.

Their service is wonderful and the owner is truly an animal lover. She is involved in animal rescue activities in the Folsom and Sacramento areas. When I'm gone I know that my pet is in good hands. My cat Darryl loved her from the moment she walked in the door, and that is very unusual for him -- he usually runs and hides when someone new comes into the house. Janet actually alerted me to a health problem that my cat was having and as a result of her alert, I got him in to the vet right away and was able to save him from a potentially fatal condition. She's very intelligent and responsible -- just the best you could ask for. It's very reassuring to have someone like that taking care of your animals when you can't be there. Darryl seems relaxed when I get home, so I know he enjoyed her company. The rate quoted above is the rate for a 20 minute visit -- it depends on the length of the visit.
