Estabrook Tree Care

I called as soon as the tree fell, as it was hanging over a fence and over my neighbors swimming pool. I got the voice mail recorder and left a message expressing the urgency of the situation. Within 15 minutes I received a call back. They were at my house within an hour. They cut up the tree and removed it from my property, first asking if I wanted any wood from the tree. I did not, so it was disposed of. They also cleaned the leaves from my neighbors pool. Fortunately there was no real damage to the fence. (Thank goodness it was a fairly new fence, or it would not have withstood the force of the tree falling on it.) They returned the next day to get rid of the tree stump. They were very efficient and cleaned up the site perfectly. Polite, efficient and timely, what more could you ask for from anyone! I will be having them do more work for me at the first of next year. I highly recommend this company!

Everything went fine from arrival to finish.  Cleaned up very well and hauled away debris.  Couldn't ask for better service.

I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism this business shows. I called and made an appointment, with Eddy, to come to my house and provide an estimate on services needed. The time of the appointment comes and goes. Thirty minutes later after the agreed upon appointment time I still had not received a call to update me on why he was late or to reschedule. Seeing I need to take the initiative I called only to find out his phone was off going straight to voice mail. I left a message asking for a call back which I never received. I feel a local business that ignores and disregards its customers with such ease should not have the support of the community they solicit for business.

It was very interesting watching the palm tree clean up.  He scaled it like it was a rock wall.

I recently needed to have several oak trees trimmed back from the roofline of my property. I called several Tree Service Companies in the Sacramento area. I narrowed it down to 3 local companies, one of which was Estabrook Tree Service. I arranged for Eddie Estabrook to meet me at the property. He arrived on time and was very personable and professional. The estimate he gave me was a bit higher than the other estimates but I was very impressed with his willingness to make suggestions and his extensive knowledge. Although I did end up going with another company, I would definitely consider using his services in the future.

He arrived at 11:30 am in a Lexus sedan--no truck and no chipper--the truck had broken down and was parked at the last job, he said.I had to call him three times to get him here, this morning; he finally answered my calls and came and did a first class job, including tree trimming, some aestetics and clean up. He made a small pile in front of my home for the city to pick up--light work. He brought all of his own tools but borrowed my Green Waste Container to help with the last sweep up, after asking if it was OK. Again, Eddie is a very personable and professional tree trimmer; he's just a little unorganized, so one needs to be proactive in making contact and expressing clearly one's needs. I felt as though his services were very reasonable both for the job and the fact that he came out on a Sunday with short notice--very helpful and accommodating. I would use his services again, as he is both easy going and easy to communicate with. Instead of getting annoyed with life's curve balls, I persisted and chipped in with the clean-up, myself; Eddie was able to finish the job well before our toddler's nap time. Hooray! From his point of view, I'm sure he'll say that clearing the limbs from around my cable and telephone lines was a bonus beyond the SMUD line trimming, but they are parallel, and I felt well within my right to ask for a bit more since he was late. Overall, I was a very satisfied customer.

I liked that they were easy to get a hold of and when I called he answered his phone. He wasn't able to come out the first time he scheduled the appointment because of a family emergency, but he came out the next day. He was great and he cleaned up everything.

They did a great job!  They worked hard - excellent value for the money.

Eddie and crew took a 1/3 acre yard absolutely full of oaks, shrubs, redwoods, and other dead or dying growth and in one day transformed it into a very nice looking and very usable backyard.  My wife and I couldn't be happier!  From the bid to completion it was apparent that Eddie is into his work, always coming up with ideas on what we could do with the yards and pointers about how to maintain things and ideas for landscaping.   On seeing our results several neighbors solicited Eddie to do work for them.  Not only was the work performed excellent, the prices were very reasonable and the crew worked about 12 hours to get everything done in one day.   Highly recommended.

Estabrook was fast and efficient. He was very friendly and helpful. He removed some debris for me at no charge. He told me that there was a tree in the backyard that would need to come down when the electric company would come by and he was right. He is fabulous.

Eddie and his crew were on time and performed exactly the work outlined in his bid.  They were professional and completed the job in an afternoon.  I will most definitely use Eddie for future tree work.  He is great!!!

Eddie Estabrook knows his trees! He is a true professional and his tree knowledge is pretty impressive. His attention to job details was good to see. He has a great work ethic. Eddie had previously come to our property to give us a quote. He was knowledgeable about the trees and growth on our property. We hired him to come on December 1st. Eddie and his crew arrived at about 7:30am and worked until dark. Everyone worked hard all day long. Eddie not only stayed on the job to supervise, but he also worked alongside his crew pruning, climbing trees, and doing cleanup. This was the first time I've ever used a company and had the owner stay on-site. I appreciated that attention to my property and the job they were doing. I plan to use Eddie again. He will be out in a week or two to discuss planting some trees for me. I trust his input and look forward to having him help me select and plant new trees. I would most definitely recommend Eddie Estabrook to anyone who has tree work to be done.

On a Sunday the response time was immediate I was very happy. He was very speedy, courteous and did a great job.
