GREAT HOUSE ROOFING SYSTEMS INC

Five years ago he replaced the flashing and the tar paper around a skylight to repair a leak. Recently it was leaking again in the exact same spot. I called him to come back to look at his prior work - it took him 5 days to return my call. He stated he would call back to schedule an appointment and never called, I called again and he indicated he would stop by that Friday. He did not show up or even call to let me know he would not keep the appointment. I called him again and he came by a week later. This process took 3 weeks to have him come to the house and look at his original work. After he completed the re-repair (that took 55 minutes- $400 an hour?) he expected payment eventhough he had not provided an invoice outlining the work completed for me. He eventually gave me an invoice detailing the work "Roof Repair $400.00." I asked for a itemized invoice to provide a breakdown of any materials used, type of work completed, labor costs, etc. The 2nd invoice stated roof repair, replace broken tile, clean debri from skylight $400.00", to say the least it was un-professional. He carries no invoices in his truck and does not provide written estimates. His invoices are so generic, I have no recourse in the future, if the leak reoccurs as it will be impossible to determine if it is due to his workmanship or an additional issue. When asked if his work comes with an warrenty, he indicated not. This not only does not provide me much confidence in his work, but indicates a lack of confidence he has in his work. Shame on me for having this gentleman work on my house.
