I cannot say enough good things about Debby. She helped my husband and I buy a home in Rocklin, CA. We are not only extremely satisfied with our purchase but also the whole experience in-general. She was very experienced and vastly knowledgeable about the location, market and all the formalities that go into a transaction of this nature. We were not local to the area we were buying in. Debby helped us eliminate options by clearly explaining to us the obvious issues before visiting a property, saving us a whole lot of travel and time. We found her to be very responsive and were glad that she took the time to address all questions and concerns we had every step of the way. During negotiations, her attention to detail and diligence stood out. We felt incredibly comfortable trusting her and taking her advice. Throughout the period we were in contract, she was always on top of things like scheduling various inspections, finding answers to questions and advocating for us. We found Debby on Angie's list. She was highly recommended. We interviewed her (as well as two other real
estate agents) and were impressed by her real estate experience as well as her
knowledge of the area. We were also impressed with her professionalism. She spent time with us to determine our real
estate needs and what we were looking for in a property.
She initially enrolled us in her on-line service that
provided daily listings of properties that met our parameters (price, size,
location, age,
etc.) . We then let her know about properties on the list
that interested us. She arranged for
viewings and took us to see the properties. We mutually discussed the merits of
each. She also introduced us to an excellent mortgage broker, who prequalified
us.
Every meeting with Debby was a delight. She is a true professional, she listens well
(which doesn't always happen). She never tried to talk us into anything. She
understood our concerns and was tremendously
patient with us.
She spent more than nine months with us as we reviewed
all possible homes that met our criteria, i.e. price, location, age. She was also knowledgeable in discussing
necessary renovations that properties might require. In the end we decided not
to buy and remain in our existing home.

We ran into a lot of issues and it took six months. It fell out of escrow twice before finishing.
Debbie was pleasant, helpful, and professional throughout, especially in the disappointing times.
We stuck with it and got a price that we were happy with.
Debbie definitely earned her fee with us.

When it comes to choosing a real estate agent my recommendation is Deborah Colman. Over the last 20 years she has handled all our real estate needs with great precision and care. Debby helped us sell our home in Elk Grove and purchase our present home in Folsom in the 1990's. Her skill in handling all the details made the home purchase smooth and flawless. In 2010 Debby once again helped me sell my late mothers home. She helped me with the staging and the home sold in less then a month. In 2013 my daughter and son-in-law purchased their first home in Arden Park. Again Debby took care of every inspection and handled all the details involved in the purchase of their home. Debbie Rocks! I?m new to the Sacramento area and had driven many, many miles trying to figure out areas, and then find a house, that would work for me. Then I contacted Debbie based on her Angie?s list reviews. First she helped me narrow down areas. Then came the house hunting. Of course I wanted it all, and on a quite limited budget. We did a lot of looking. Finally, finally I found the place that called out my name. However, (and it was a big however) the place was in such bad shape that the financing got really tricky. She juggled all the unbelievable details involved in the transaction and finally it?s mine! It?s a big project that will take a number of years to get into shape (that?s a plus for me). I couldn?t have done it without Debbie ? she has an unbelievable amount of patience, pays close attention to detail, and consistently followed up with all the players to make sure we were on track. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

After interviewing several realtors I chose Debbie based on her proffessionalism, experience, and knowledge of the home selling process. After evaluating my home she gave me helpful suggestions on how to increase the value of the home as well as having it show well. The home was on the market roughly a week and we received two offers, which I ended up accepting one that was over the asking price. The offer was also an "all cash" offer so it was a 15 day escrow as well. Overall, the whole process of showing and closing the sale on the house went much faster and smoother then I expected. I give Debbie much of the credit for this and would definitely reccomend her for anyone who is buying or selling a home.

Ms. Colman, Debby, was especially professional in every interaction with family members, buyers, or agencies that were involved in the sale of my mother's property. I particularly appreciated the way Debby kept all of us apprised of the progress that was being made along the way so that if we had concerns or questions she would answer them in a timely manner.
