Overall I was very pleased. The inspector arrived a few minutes early and was very friendly. He explained to me exactly what he would be inspecting and what different tools/techniques would be used (primarily air samples). Both the exterior and interior of the house was inspected. As he went through the house, he pointed out many small areas to watch out for, especially in the bathrooms and kitchen. At the end, he concluded that there was no mold problem to be concerned with and that no further action was recommended.
Description of Work: I hired Bay Mold to perform an inspection of a possible mold outbreak/infection beneath my 54 year old home. They charge a standard $300 fee for this type of inspection, which was communicated to me during the initial phone call. The inspector inspected the interior and exterior of the house, took air samples both inside and out, and reviewed digital photos of the possible mold problem. Special attention was paid to bathrooms and kitchens, where he pointed out various sources of water/moisture that we should be wary of. After reviewing those results with me in detail, the inspector recommended no action be taken at this time in terms of repairs.
