Scott, President of American River Overhead Door, did an on site evaluation of my existing door and my replacement garage door opener. He assured me included in the installation of my new garage door my garage door would open and close in a proper manner. An employee came to install the garage door. He was very detail oriented and kept his work space clean and organized. The employee, sorry I don't remember the nice fellows name, had difficulty adjusting my garage door so it would stop rubbing against the garage door frame. He did lessen the door rubbing on the garage door frame. After he left I realized the top horizontal panel of my garage door didn't hang vertically when the door was completely closed, leaving an unsightly gap between the yellow garage door and the white trim around the garage door.. I called Scott, he was all I could ask for! After a quick evaluation, he determined the trim across the top of the garage door was crooked. It had huge knots in several places causing these bumps. I agreed to pay for a new piece of trim, Scott agreed to bring the trim for me to paint and return another day to put this new, painted trim on my garage door frame. Scott really put his heart into getting my garage door working properly, he took his time, was polite, and offered to dispose of my old crooked 2 by 4 trim. I would hire American River Overhead Door and recommend them without hesitation! This isn't my first dealings with a contractor since moving to this house, however it was the most pleasant! I am currently planning to add on to my little home and my biggest hesitation is dealing with the required contractors. In brief, it has been my personal experience, once the contract is signed and the payment is secured, the battle begins! Yes they agreed to the terms and are going to do everything they can to avoid living up to their commitments. An example, house painter, contracted 2 coats of paint on my entire home. Trim paint had a built in primmer, he refused to apply 2 coats of paint. AC hook up, charged $200 (a fair price) for the tubing from the compressor to the unit in the house, it used tubing. There ARE more,,,,,, Yes, I am going to hire the necessary contractors to make the small addition to my home,,,,, Surely there must be SOME OUT THERE, with the professionalism and integrity of Scott Lynch president of American River Overhead Door! We had a major door put in quite a while ago, but it broke once and they came. The price was fair.

Called and left a message for Scott. He returned my call in about an hour, saying that he could be out to fix the problem in the afternoon. He arrived on time and quickly went to work to replace the spring. Very low key and willing to discuss / educate me on the various types of springs. He completed the job - cost was very nominal for a great job and a quick turnaround. I'll for sure call him again if the need arises.

Scott came out and did the work in less than 30 minutes. A really nice guy, so honest and wanting to do a great job for us. We were so pleased and have referred him out to a couple of our friends and co-workers who needed garage door work. No problems with the door springs since he was here. Super happy customers.

. HeScott answered the telephone when I called about the problem on Friday 9/18 at about noon. He met me at the location by 4:00 (the agreed upon time) that afternoon, diagnosed the problem and provided an estimate of the cost and a time to make the repairs. He scheduled the repairs for between 1:00 and 1:30 the following Monday. He called me 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time and told me he was on the way and would be there in 15 minutes. He actually arrived prior to his time estimate. He was very organized and installed a new opener, new sensors and a new inside controller. He rebraced the door to bring it to current standards. While he was doing this work he also cleaned up old wiring from previous openers. He also adjusted the door for smoother opening. During this time he cheerfully answered all questions that I asked of him.
He was extremely professional and courteous in all his dealings with me. Customer service is obviously a high priority for him. There is nothing that he could have done better.

Scott, the owner, is a real professional guy. He does a great job and has good people skills. He gives you want you want instead of what he thinks you want. His prices are fair and he is exceedingly good at what he does. He is a very good man.

After reviewing Angie’s List, and consulting the Better Business Bureau I called American River Overhead Doors for an estimate of a new garage door with and without the opener. Scott Lynch was right on time for our appointment. He was professional and able to answer all of my questions and suggested products that fit my needs and budget

I had already done some product and price comparison so I was happy that Scott’s prices are very reasonable. We settled on a door, opener, and install date. Scott was right on time for the install. He started working (around all our junk) and within a few hours he had everything installed and working fantastic. He cleaned everything up and didn't even charge us for some extras. We are very happy with the new door it’s very quiet and makes our house look great. Yes, I would recommend American River Overhead Doors to my family and friends.

This is my second experience using American River Overhead Door. I called in the evening to request service. I received a call promptly the following morning, and, Scott was on-site at 9:00 AM. Scott has a great personality, is very informative, and a good businessman. All-in-all the best service ever!

I had a sectional door that had broken down with age, it was here when we bought the house and was very poor quality. Scott can out and measured the door, explained some options, I chose to go with a insulated door with steel backing and windows in the top panel. The opener was not in the best of shape but it was not in the budget right now. Scott told me no problem he would hook it up to the new door and with a new high quality door it may last a while. We scheduled a install date at which time he removed the old one and installed the new one. I had him leave a few cards which I had given out within a week of him doing my door. I would use him again, he is a one man operation who does mostly garage doors and openers and does them very well, you ill not be disappointed.

This is how business should be done!!! Scott was available over the phoneimmediately and came out ASAP and fixed the door efficiently and wasvery professional and courteous. Very competitive rate also.
