The metal gate that was created and fabricated for our home was exactly what we wanted. Communication was excellent and the price was very competitive. I only wish more companies where as easy to deal with as Smith metalworks.

We put a pool in the backyard and needed to install a new gate that would look good and meet code. We got estimates from a half dozen companies, looking at wood, molded plastic and metal. Chris provided us a drawing that depicted what we wanted and a price that matched those we were given for wood gates. The look was classy and the life span longer than the other options. Marni is the administrative half of this husband/wife team and she is an ace at keeping you up to date on progress of manufacture and installation. It was done in a very reasonable time period and we could not be happier.

This is an excellent company. Their work was superb, and they addressed my need for an exterior railing promptly, despite their busy schedule. I am a disabled veteran that required a railing to get into my rental house. They fit me into their schedule due to my special needs. I am very grateful for the quality of their work, and for their compassion to address my home access problem. Our project was very technical and needed someone that understood angles and a good fit for our stairwell. Chris was spot on in his measurements and fit.
