Not as expected. Errors by his subs had to be pointed out to him. such as bad soldering on the plumbing resulting in a leak. Problems were fixed, but why did the problems need to be pointed out unless he was not inspecting all the subs work? Quality of the some of the sub work was a problem and each time the GC sided with the sub instead of acting as the owners advocate. The work was not to industry standard but that did not seem to matter. Some subs were very good.But make sure you know if he is using "old friends" as the sub or someone else. the old friends are friends from high school and may not be the best available.
Description of Work: GC and supervisor of major whole home remodel. All-but a total tear down, Handled all but the finish work, concrete and landscaping.

In response to (Member name removed) comments about this remodel – I was the GC for part of this remodel. (Member name removed) was working as an owner/builder on other parts of this remodel, which included heating/air, titanium roofing, and misc. The plumbing had passed quality and code inspection, been pressurized, and was working without fault for weeks. (Member name removed) began installing his HVAC where he had to crawl various times into the narrow crawl space where I do believe, he inadvertently damaged the line. Once the leak was detected, it was quickly fixed at no extra cost to him and there was no damage to property. (Member name removed) continued to use my sub, the same plumber, to sign many extra as an owner/builder. Even though I was not being paid as a supervisor for the extras, I was there monitoring, walking inspections, and explaining errors that (Member name removed)was making that were not to code and had safety concerns. My advice was disregarded. My work and my sub-contractor’s work passed all inspections on quality and city codes by the city inspectors and Dixieline Fund Control. I use highly qualified professional sub-contractors, not former high school classmate or “old friends”. I am not sure where he is getting that from. I assume he is mixing them up with some of his other sub-contractors. I always inspect my sub-contractor’s work. If ever there is a problem, it is quickly taken care of. I pride myself on quality work and customer satisfaction.

He did a great job. He's reliable and completed the work on time.
Description of Work: He installed crown molding, replaced my sink in my bathroom, and did some tile work.
