Ben and his team completed work on my condo and I could not be more pleased with the results. I tasked them with a two bathroom remodels, kitchen sink replacement, and the creation of new sliding doors between my office and the master bedroom. Ben, Marcus, and Pete were prompt, professional, and very considerate of my time and space. Of note is Ben's candor when it came to design ideas, and expense. He advised that several of my ideas weren't worth the money, and suggested more cost effective alternatives, which I really appreciated. I would absolutely hire Ben and his team again for future work.

We cannot recommend Ben highly enough. He did a complete kitchen remodel and a bathroom remodel for us for our home in Oakland and we are very happy with the results. He was organized, fair and professional throughout both projects. He has also done numerous other small projects for us and is always informative and resourceful. We recommended Ben and his company to our very good friends and they were happy with his work as well. We will call on Ben again any time we need some construction work done at our house.

We would definitely work with Ben again. His attention to detail and overall integrity as a contractor are excellent. He spent plenty of time with us on the front end of the project to select materials and set our expectations for how our kitchen would look when it was done. He helped us choose some special features that made the kitchen special. We were remodeling the kitchen as part of an overall plan to renovate and sell our home, and time got tight at the end of the project when we found another home more quickly than we thought we would. Ben stepped up and did a really good job finishing the final touchups, and we sold our home two days later.

Perfect! Awesome company to work with. Lee was my contractor on the job and he’s the best to work with. Very communicative through out the entire process, on time, cleaned up every day, and had some great suggestions which helped with my project and budget. He also handled all the permit inspections. There were no glitches what so ever. I can not recommend Reid Construction more! Hire them!

Every part of the project went very well. Ben responded promptly to my request for a quote. He understood the options I was considering for the project, and helped me clarify what was needed. He was up-front with the initial unknowns and what additional costs there might be. He was able to schedule the job quickly, and his crew arrived on time, worked professionally, and did a beautiful job restoring the steps to my front porch. The painter he sub-contracted to complete the project was equally professional, and promptly handled touching up the job to compete it to my satisfaction.

After a fall, a physical therapist recommended that grab bars be installed in the master bath and adjacent toilet room. Because of the safety factor, it was decided to solicit a local contractor. Reid Construction was selected based on customer ratings and proximity to our residence. Lee first came to examine and evaluate the job site. Upon acceptance of the quote from Ben, Lee showed up on time. Work was completed in about 2 hours. The job site was clean. Lee demonstrated the sturdiness of the installed grab bars which was completely satisfactory. From start to finish, Lee is the consummate professional. This is our first experience with Reid Construction. It is written that those who are trustworthy in small things, are trustworthy in big things. Strongly recommend.

Great! The crew was prompt, professional, courteous and very skilled at their craft. Also cleaned up daily before leaving. Our 80’s kitchen is now upgraded and transformed into a lovely space very amenable to daily use and to family get togethers & entertaining.

Completed job quickly and reasonably. Workers were top notch and work was completed on time, exactly as described. Plus Ben is just a super nice guy, very accesible and easy to work with. Gave us lots of good advice and great ideas along the way, appreciated his ongoing email communication with us. Would highly recommend!!! Very pleased with the whole experience.

Mr. Reid's helper did the window, and did a sloppy job on it. I called Mr. Reid and he came immediately to look at it. He apologized, and redid the work on the window. It looked better after that, but still not quite what it should have looked like. This was in2012 or 2013.

Unfortunately, a worker quit the first day of work, but Mr. Reid personally completed the work, correcting original construction flaws along the way. Was willing to work with me on tile shortages (mine) so that the final outcome was beautiful.

Bathrooms went well and added a new shower to the master bathroom When replacing window, dry rot discovered and repaired done then that required painting the whole house.
