Gillespie's has been family owned & operated in Fairfield, CA since 1934. Ben & Marcy Gillespie were the original owners until 1975, that's 41 years. Gillespie's is currently owned & operated by the Hoover family. Russ & Charlene, Monte, Craig & Steve. We are celebrating 36 years of ownership this year. Our sales associates are extremely knowledgeable and trained in the most advanced flooring products available on the market today. They have a passion for helping you choose the right products for your home and your family. We are dedicated to helping you maintain not only your warranties but also the beauty of your floors. Our cleaning department offers cleaning for carpets, upholstery, and area rugs as well as tile, stone and grout cleaning. The team arrived on time, with all the necessary tools and got to work immediately. They always told me when they would be leaving or taking breaks. I work from home so I was always available for questions.
All the work went very smoothly. They were done on time also. They took away all the stuff that was torn out with nothing left behind. There were a couple of spots that needed some adjustment after the install was complete. They responded promptly to my needs. The adjustments were made within 1-2 days of calling it in.
I would happily use them again. Their prices were probably a bit higher than Home Depot, but the whole staff from sales to invoicing is so pleasant and professional to work it. And you get what you pay for
