Description of Work: I highly recommend Nyberg Construction for the following professional reasons: 1) Dave discovered that the vent from the hot water heater had not been connected properly to the vent leading up to the roof. This, therefore, meant that life-threatening gases (such as Carbon Monoxide) had been entering my house..... Needless to say, when Dave fixed this problem I was humbly thankful. 2) Dave also discovered that the air-intake to the furnace had not been sealed completely which meant that the furnace was taking in cold basement air rather than already-heated air from the living quarters of the house..... Fixing this substantially cut down my heating bills during the winter....... 3) Dave also did a pressure test on my air vents and was able to increase the pressure to the master bedroom so that it was a warm as the rest of the house in the evening....... 4) In general, Dave did a variety of construction projects for me, including improving the foundation of the house, with some earthquake retrofitting that I had not even thought of...... 5) Mostly, though, I found Dave to be open and honest about his bids and billing, so that after a while I felt that I did not even have to waste time with competitive pricing......

 + 0 moreDave Nyberg oversaw most of the re-model of our home, and he did much of the work himself. That project is now complete. After working closely with Dave for many months, we have only the best to say about him. His craftsmanship was of the highest quality. He regularly devised creative and excellent solutions to problems as they arose. It was a pleasure to deal with him at all times. He listens well. He obviously cares about and knows a lot about green building. He is a genuinely kind and friendly man. Our four year old daughter liked him and his colleagues so much that she now says that when she grows up she wants to be a carpenter like Dave. Dave?s team was comprised of the nicest guys you could ever expect to work with. We recommend him strongly and without hesitation.
