These guys are complete jokers and shouldn't be allowed to do business. Run away! Find another supplier there are many that offer the same service. First. I researched multiple different companies that deliver ready mixed concrete in small batches. All the prices were about the same but Steve's was willing to give me a specific delivery time ( not just a window.) So I set it up two days in advance. They were an hour late, while my crew sat around twiddling their fingers and increasing my costs. When they showed up and started putting out mud, it was like soup. I argued with the guy and told him I wouldn't accept such watery concrete. He was belligerent and tried to convince me that there was no problem with concrete the consistency of water, we weren't talking about low slump, there was absolutely no slump to this concrete. (Slump refers to the degree to which concrete sticks to itself and can form a mound and hold its shape with out support.) Anyway I made him dump out two wheel barrows before he could get it dried up and useable. I assumed I didn't have to pay for unusable concrete. Wrong. Not only did he charge me for garbage concrete, he claimed I used an amount of concrete 50% larger than the total volume of the forms that I was filling. How could that be possible you ask? I'm not sure, but "the belligerent one" assured me they calibrate their highly sophisticated measuring device all the time- calibrate it to rip customers off... When "the belligerent one" tallied up my costs, he also charged me an extra $10 more than I was quoted on the phone for the delivery. And he wasn't about to reduce the price in anyway. All and all this was a terrible experience. These guys are crooks and lairs. Don't trust them. Don't use them.
