Last January, my wife and I discovered that our add-on family room (unpermitted by the previous owners) was getting water damage from the constant rain. Rather than repairing it, we decided to renovate it, and build a bigger family room with a master bedroom and bathroom. We interviewed 10 contractors, and Bob Stubblefield was one of them. Of the 10 we got quotes from, Bob’s ranked in the middle lower end. His price seemed fair compared to the other quotes we received, but we ultimately went with him because he was very courteous, knowledgeable and positive. He made us feel at ease. Prior to this remodel, I had never experienced one and I was very concerned with who I was letting into my house while I was away at work. Bob and his crew were polite and professional, that all of my worries went away. In fact, Bob made it a priority to introduce us to his crew – and whenever somebody new was working, he made sure there were introductions. The work RLS Construction did was absolutely fantastic. We couldn’t be happier with the end result. With the exception of maybe a day or two when it rained profusely, Bob and his crew were always at the house building. They were not one of those horror stories you hear about when a contractor takes a job and walks away for weeks. On the contrary, Bob was on it. He is very good at time management and delegated work to his team seamlessly. I could tell that Bob’s positive attitude also had a good effect on the people who he worked with – because all of them were pleasant to be around. Bob was always approachable and would always provide us status updates, either in brief meetings or simply by sending us text updates with photos of progress. At times, he would even throw out suggestions. For instance, we were going to install a door to the bedroom that opened up against a window. Realizing it would have looked a little odd, Bob suggested we consider a barn door. Sure enough we went with that idea, and it looks fantastic! It’s one of the highlights of the new addition. Bob was such a pleasure to work with and I would most certainly work with him again.

Fantastic. Bob met with us whenever we needed and helped us understand the scope of the project every step of the way. This was our first time hiring a contractor and Bob did not take advantage of that at all. His crew (Steve, Jake and others) are also extremely professional and talented. Bob was super easy to communicate with as well; able to text pictures and keep us in the loop. Clean up was great too and the project was completed on time and with no additional expense.

The job went excellent ran into a couple Small issues during construction but he took care of it in a Very professional manner I personally believe that you see a person‘s true character when an issue comes up and if they can handle when issues arise still in a loving and respectful manner it shows a real good character on That persons part Very pleasant individual to deal with it and I love his manners it’s not like a normal contractor that is coming to your property and cussing on the job site He took the time to cover the carpet and cover any wood and kept a real clean safe worksite It went very smooth and professional

Beyond my expectations.... beautiful

There is nothing worse than having a plumbing leak and potential mold issues. I was told by my insurance adjuster and all of their contracted companies that my issue was a leak coming from the shower pan and the drain. That will cost anywhere from 5k to 12k for a complete mold remediation/remodel of the shower and closet. Oh, big surprise, that's not covered. The short is, Bob came out promptly and within 20 minutes he found a leak in the pipe coming down from the attic. With an amazing level of professionalism, integrity and superb craftsmanship my closet was remediated and remodeled in three days for 2.5k. He even fixed things not discussed or quoted for free. You guessed it. No issues with the shower pan or drain. Thank you Bob for going way above and beyond. You will be doing many more projects for my family and friends.
