Precision Hardwood Flooring

Emik Nikora was very professional, he completed the work in an adequate time frame. The job site was cleaned up daily and when the team was working they were extremely courteous and respectful of our home. They even came back and did a touch up on an area we walked on accidentally! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a hardwood flooring repair or new installation.

It was an outstanding experience. He is a craftsman, a professional and honest as the day is long. He was punctual and promised specifically what he would do and then did it. The finished product is beautiful and durable - even with two big dogs on it daily. We have referred him to many and would hire him again in a flash. I can't speak highly enough of Emik and his work. Outstanding.

Everything went better than I could imagine.  Emik was such a pleasure to work with, very knowledgeable, did what he said he would do, no misunderstandings on anything.  The work was impeccable, and we are so pleased with how the floors, which had be neglected, turned out.  We will continue to use his for maintenance.  Highly recommend him--you won't be disappointed.  

All aspects of the job were done extremely well. The process wis quick and neat, and the final product is fantastic. We plan on using them again soon for our stairs.

Emik did a fantastic job and it's beautiful.  The finish is really hard Swedish finish and really tough.  These guys are really fine craftsmen!  They didn't waste any time, covered everything well, showed up on time and early, and cleaned up after themselves.  We would highly recommend them for any old or new wood floors!  I have pictures before and after of every step if anyone is interested.

When we purchased our house this summer, we knew the floors would need refinishing.  The surface was uneven, the color was very dark, and the finish was a high gloss.    Emik Nikora responded promptly to our phone call, arriving the same day to look at our floors.  He answered all our questions and, at our request, made helpful suggestions; we received an estimate by email later that day.  Emik struck us right away as one who had a real appreciation for hardwood floors and was dedicated to doing the best job possible.  After getting one other estimate we scheduled the job with Precision Hardwood Flooring.
On the first day Emik arrived with his equipment and went right to work.  He started by removing the baseboards so the finish would truly extend to all edges then replaced part of one board that had been damaged.   He filled, and then sanded our floor three times with successively finer grit; he then screened it.  All dust and debris was removed as he worked and was taken off site.  Emik worked carefully and dealt with corners, edges, and thresholds by hand so that every inch of our hardwood was beautiful--the entry, the living area, two bedrooms and a number of closets.  The sander he used was clearly of high quality; dust was minimal. He took pains in applying each of three coats of finish and we have yet to detect any flaws or bubbles in the finish.  The whole process from sanding to finish took five days--six if you count a follow-up visit he made on Saturday, just to be sure all was OK.
He made sure we understood about the cure time and about caring for the floors.  Needless to say, we are very pleased with the result and admire our floors every day.  It was indeed a pleasure to work with one who holds himself to such high standards.

It went very very well. Emik is very accommodating, pleasant and skilled at his craft. He also appears to have the best equipment to get the job done.

He was always half an hour early and went above and beyond what I expected. He is a young man and did a fabulous job.
