NUMBER ONE HARDWOOD FLOORS

We had used Number One to refinish our floors when we moved in originally and they did a great job. This time Tai got back to us fairly quick and we set up a day. The workers did not arrive at the agreed upon time. The job could have been finished in one day, which we had planned on, but it ended up taking two afternoons. The guys did an alright job with cleanup, i did have to pick a couple of pieces of molding up both days. They didn't bring their own hole filler, they borrowed mine and didn't even fill in all of the holes. On the ends of the quarter round at the door ways, I had to ask that they redo the ends to match the angle of the original floorboards, which they did no problem. One thing I wish that Tai had recommended was that we use a taller floor board to cover the paint line of the old floor boards. So we ended up with floor boards that were shorter, when I painted I had to scrape and sand down the line to flatten it out so that it wouldn't be so noticeable. The gentlemen that did the work were nice, though they did stop often to talk on their cell phones, which slowed things down. I would like to give Tai and his team the benefit of the doubt, but I will probably try someone else from the list before I give him a call again.

Average price and pleasant to work with, but poor quality of work. Sanding pattern still visible in a number of places, and very poor work around the edges of each room.

IT TOOK THEM TWO DAYS TO COMPLETE THE JOB. IT WAS FANTASTIC. THEY WERE REALLY VERY PROFESSIONAL. I AM SO SURPRISED BY THE GREAT JOB THAT THEY DID. I REFERRED THEM TO MY SISTER.
