Description of Work: Mike Kearney Homes was our architect and general contractor. He constructed our 3200 square foot home with perfection. Additionally, he has provided continuing customer service (although not needed), with recommendations for additional referrals.

 + 0 moreKearney Homes made the remodel experience incredible. Mike (the owner), looked at the newly purchased foreclosure home. Aside from being vandalized there were several aspects of the home that needed to be change. He came up with a design plan and price that fit the budget and before we knew it it became a dream home. His designs were innovative and very functional, his professionalism and experience put any concerns to rest. The remodel and repairs were competed on schedule and with no overages. Mike is a talented designer and a hard working, honest builder who takes extreme pride in his work. I highly recommend Kearney Homes for any construction project.

 + 0 moreOur experience with Michael Kearney exceeded our expectation in every way. We secured a construction loan and the financial draws were submitted to our lender. Inspection of the work performed added an additional level of confidence for us. Mike made recommendations from windows, doors, carpentry, etc., and was able to affect cost savings. Mike's knowledge and vast experience was important to us and especially in areas we had no experience (septic). Very few plan changes were made during the entire course of construction. We've been in our home for seven years and it still looks new. We have recommended Kearney Homes to friends and neighbors for new construction, remodeling and inspection. Without hesitation, Mike Kearney has our endorsement as an ethical, competent, efficient contractor who works with integrity (a rare find sometimes).
Description of Work: Kearney Homes provided complete architectural design and new construction of a 3200 square foot home in Placerville. Having a combined licensed architect and general contractor was a bonus and cost savings. As our primary building contractor, Michael Kearney (owner) was attentive to all details from our initial meeting through warranty. To date, if a question or concern has come up, Michael is quick to return our call and come by the house. His thorough knowledge (and outstanding good taste), provided a level of trust during all phases of construction. We were absentee owners (living in Southern California), and Mike was in contact with us regularly and notified us when he needed our presence at specific phases of construction (orientation of home on lot, framing, electrical placement, etc.). Kearney Homes has quality subcontractors and Mike oversees their daily work. Our home was completed on time and on budget. The craftsmanship of our home is exceptional as reflected throughout.
