 + -1 moreI filled at an application on their website for a rental listed as available on December 31, 2016. I did not hear from them, but understood it was a holiday weekend. When I saw the $40 had cleared my bank on January 3, 2016, I reached out to them via their Contact us on the website on January 4. The response I got on January 5 back stated it was let agreed and had the questions I had already filled out and asking for me to pay the fee again if I wanted to be on the callback list. I then went and verified the form is STILL available to apply for this property and pay the fee online. It lists it as AVAILABLE, not as already rented. They list themselves as A+ with BBB, but the link on their page is broken, their actual rating is A. How many people are they scamming for application fees for properties that are not available?
Description of Work: Horizon Properties accepts applications through their webpage stating properties are available. Collect the $40 fee, then do not contact you, I had to contact them, and then inform you the property is let agreed and you have to apply and pay the fee again. I verified several hours after getting the email saying it was let agreed that it was still listed as available, and taking application fees.

 + 0 moreI am so happy I decided to have Horizon Properties manage my property! It took a year to make the decision after having managed it on my own for more than 20 years. That was a big step, but now I know I made the right decision. Their property managers are very thorough and the staff in the office is quite responsive. Sue, the lady who shows the property when it is available, is a treasure. Even their handyman did a good job at a really reasonable price. The staff at Horizon Property are great listeners and communicate very well with others. They are proactive and involved, current and knowledgeable. They make everything run smoothly. What a relief!
Description of Work: Horizon Properties took care of rental property as if it were there own.
