In all my projects I seek the guidance of the Highest Power to work through me to manifest the environment that is unique to each individual living there. Like thumbprints, no two designs are alike, all are as different as our personalities. The important thing is that the design reflects who you are and how you want to live - the essence of what makes you feel good inside.

We have a ranch-style home that was built 35 years ago. We had not done anything much at all in terms of redecorating or updating the house. The main reason for this was that we were just no good at picking colors or choosing and arranging furniture. In a two-hour consultation, Jodi did a fantastic job of addressing both of those problems. She did not just come in and tell us what colors to use. Instead, she interviewed us and got to know us a little to get a sense of how we wanted the house to feel. The colors we picked with her help turned out fantastic! In addition, she gave us excellent advice on new furniture to buy and how to arrange the furniture. This was especially useful because we had never been able to figure out how to make two of the rooms in our house look good. Jodi is very knowledgeable and professional, nice and easy to work with. I definitely would recommend her to anyone!

The service was good. She was good and she came out right away. She was helpful, but I decided to work with a different designer this time. When I worked with her everything went on fine and this time I decided that I work with somebody local and cheaper. I don't mind recommending her, but her fees is a bit high. I prefer using somebody who charges less. She was responsive and customer service and quality of work is excellent.

Jodi was very professional and knowledgable. In the two hours, we finalized colors for all rooms in the house and she also suggested painting the kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and replacing Corian counters with quartz. We selected the color for the cabinets and quartz counters. Finally, Jodi recommended a painter and counter specialist firm, each of whom did excellent work.

Jodi was considerate. She listened to our needs, likes, and dislikes. She was positive, enthusiastic, and upbeat, which made her suggestions able to be heard by us.
Now that most of the work is done I couldn't be happier. Her ability to present her really good ideas was outstanding. I'd recommend her to others without reservation.

Jodi helped me decorate several rooms in my home using my existing items. I was so happy because I got to keep my beloved items and they now look better than they ever did before. Jodi did not waste any time. She was full of great ideas, all of which we implemented. She also suggested the perfect paint colors. From now on, I will call Jodi if I have any design questions and I will definitely have her come out to help me with other rooms.

I searched Angie's List and came across Jodi for an interior designer and it is by far one of the best things I ever did. Jodi was VERY professional, flexible, considerate and helpful.
First Jodi suggested places for us to go to look for tile and granite counter tops. We found some great materials and some good prices. We were in the process of closing on our house and was unsure the exact day when we would get keys to our new home. We had an idea of the week but the day we would get our keys was a bit of a mystery. We also had a tight deadline as we had painters coming in the following week after we received keys to paint. Jodi was very accommodating and had no issues
with modifying her schedule a couple of times to meet with us.
On the day of our appointment, Jodi notified me in advance she would be at the house in about 5 minutes and she showed up on time. She brought lots of paint samples, asked us questions on what we wanted to feel in the house. She looked at our color selections, walked the entire house with us and suggested a couple of color changes to match the feelings we said we wanted. She gave us ideas on how to use the colors and enhance some rooms with accent colors.
Then Jodi went above and beyond what we expected. She offered to get us a discount on the paint, the slate tile we had chosen and even the wood flooring. While we didn't use her for a discount on the paint we definitely took up her offer on the tile. We plan to purchase our tile for Suntile (who Jodi recommended and gave us a nice discount).
All of this was AFTER we had our 1 hour consultation with her. We will definitely use Jodi in the future to help with decorating ideas for the new home. We feel as though we have a friend for life that is willing at any moment to help us make our home a great place to live. She has a great eye and we love the color choices she suggested. I payed her $175 for some design ideas. She was nice but didn't write anything down for me. She said she would have to charge more to write it down which I thought was weird.

"This client hired me for a color consultation. We spent nearly 2 hours selecting colors for the master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, great room and hallway. I left the color selection cards with her and she called 3 weeks later to ask for one of the "green" colors that she misplaced. I couldn't remember the exact name of the color but offered to order color swatches for her that I thought it might be that would work with the other colors selected. If clients are considering working with me to work with them to implement the design/decor, I follow-up with an itemized proposal that includes a project plan, list of recommendations and cost estimates. This follow-up includes the colors selected. This process usually takes me an hour. For one-time consultations, this step is usually not necessary because I leave the color cards and the homeowners take notes."

I had a great experience with Jodi, she arrived on time and was very easy to talk with and discuss ideas. What she finally recommended was completely different than my original plan and this was exactly what I needed from a designer consultation. The house looks great because she took it in a direction that I never would have envisioned. Jodi was also very helpful in that she took the time to provide me specific paint colors and brands so that it was just a question of picking up the paint from the nearest dealer. I am definitely planning on contacting Jodi again for consultation in the future regarding lighting and other fixtures.

The overall experience was far better than expected. I had one thought in mind, Jodi came in, discussed my likes, dislikes, and the direction I wanted to go in. From that we came up with a color scheme and a general design scheme that was far better than what I had planned. My choices would have been a disaster, and I thank Jodi for all of her input. To add to the overall experience, Jodi also pointed me to certain professionals that would be great in finishing my room.

After my consultation, Jodi also provided a proposal quote to have her help implement the design. It also was very reasonable and her proposal provided additional design details. I opted out on the in house service but her consultations helped me a lot. I highly recommend Jodi. I probably should have hired her for the in home interior design because my results probably would have been even better.

I had my initial consultation with Jodi. I liked her immediately. I felt extremely comfortable with her. I am terrible at choosing paint color. She is a whiz at it. Together, we went through every room in my house looking at everything. Then we went through a second time discussing problems, solutions, details, accessories and paint colors. She had fantastic ideas and actually saved us a lot of money by giving us less expensive options that would still look great. For example, we had been getting estimates for refacing our living room fireplace with real stone. Jodi suggested repainting or faux finishing it which would be much less expensive. She does not try to get you to spend more money when a less expensive option is just as nice or even better. She did not make me feel uncomfortable about my current home's look or make me self conscious about the choices I have already made. She was courteous, polite, and professional without being stuffy or condescending. In fact, she is a ton of fun. She was enthusiastic about working together and about making my home more beautiful. She is clever and ingenious. She went the extra mile for us by offering to purchase paint samples for me when the salesperson at the paint store refused to provide her usual professional discount to us. She went out of her way to look at a house whose exterior paint I liked to give me her opinion as to the colors we should use for the outside of the house which is being painted tomorrow. This was done without a fee and as a favor to us. In essence, she goes the extra mile for you. How rare is that? I can't say enough good things about her. I'm very excited about continuing to work with her as we continue to beautify my home. I"m so glad I called Jodi; I strongly encourage you to do the same.

I was unable to complete all the work because I got laid off and had to conserve resources. She was VERY understanding and allowed me to send check when I could. Much of what she planned did get done with just some rearranging furniture and pictures.

Working with Jodi was an absolute pleasure. I hired her to do a redesign on my house. She came in and had great ideas right away. In 2 hours we moved furniture around and used accessories and paintings I already had to transform my family room. On the 2nd visit we shopped together and with a few accessories and art pieces my front room now looks fabulous too. I decided to purchase two new rugs and i was able to get high quality wool rugs at reasonable cost. Jodi is very creative...I highly recommend her.
