Property Appraisal
Our mortgage broker contacted John and scheduled the inspection. We gave a check in advance to the broker. John conducted the inspection on a Saturday morning (we were not present). He prepared and sent the report on Tuesday. We never met him so I can only describe the report. The report was 22 pages and went into far more detail than any previous appraisal I seen. John was extremely thorough in his due diligence. The report explained exactly why and how he arrived at his conclusions as well as where his facts came from. The report was also nicely illustrated throughout with photographs of the home exterior, interior, pool, outbuildings, and the front exteriors of the comparison properties. This was the first home appraisal I've seen that didn't exactly equal the purchase price. I consider that good as others I've seen seemed to take the purchase price and work backwards to prove the home was worth the purchase price.
