Main problem : Most of the time I could not get online.
When I did there was a delay in the yahoo mail coming up., but that may be yahoo?When it did load I could not open anything or even close or reload.I believe they have more customers than they can deal with.
In any case After 3 months I cancelled.
. It is very discouraging when I set time aside to work. It has messed with my quality of life.
I am now using Verizon 4G Jetpack that I turn on and off and it works unless Yahoo does the same "stall". Meanwhile I have no printer and cannot do my taxes

The first guy was at the house for 2 hours before another man came. The second man just wanted to trade the boxes; put the living room Tivo in my room and then put the Mini from my room to the living room. I said that I thought the same issue would be there and then the guy the guy said, "Fine, if you want us here two more hours we don't care!" I pay $200.00 a month for the cable/internet service and he refused to help. Instead, he put another expensive Tivo box in my bedroom and kept the Tivo Mini. All that did was charge me an extra $10.00 a month, because he wouldn't or could't solve the problem. Last year when it there was a problem with the internet and cable, i had three cable trucks, each with one to two cable workers, trying to figure out the problem. By the fourth day, one man solved the problem within a half an hour. I have tried to request the same worker, but they say I cannot request a particular worker and there is no way of knowing which tech will come to the house. It's bad enough that the service is off and on, and I pay a lot of money each month, but to be treated so horribly by that one tech, just made me want to pull his head off. Instead, I told him he could stay as long as he needed.

Required replacing the modem, for another $50. Connection speed still isn't what I'm paying for.

I can actually call to any country. They're excellent! They answer the phone, and they help you with the problems. Also, they send somebody out the same or the next day. The internet is never down even in the storm or something. It always works compared to my previous internet provider that's up and down. I can't say any better words about them. They are just so nice! I don't have any problems with them. If I have a question about channels that I don't have like HBO, I call them and they'll add HBO at no cost.

*Internet installation went fine
Cable is a whole different story.
We made an appointment for Suddenlink to come out and install our cable at our brand new place. When we made the appointment we reminded them we have 2 Tivo boxes so we need 2 cable cards. The tech shows up for our appointment on a Friday and says he knew nothing about the cable cards (which we later found out isn't true they were listed on the original order form). So he says someone will bring us cable cards on Monday. Monday comes and goes no show. We called suddenlink 3 times a day between Monday and Thursday asking for cable cards, during this time I have no TV and am paying for having no TV. The next Friday they finally get a tech out to us and we find out he has never installed cable cards before and didn't program them right so they aren't working. We call Suddenlink again, and get nowhere.
During all this we were promised call backs from supervisors because we were getting extremely upset, finally someone we talked to said they cheat the system by putting the message in, and dispatch will note they called and took care of the problem so the supervisor assumes it's fine even though no one is calling back.
Needless to say we called Direct TV and went with satellite instead

Suddenlink Communications
Suddenlink Communications, provides internet and cable. They started out great in the beginning, then their internet has begun to be slow and I don't like the idea of them adding a cap to the internet usage but, I have no choice, if you want more usage you have to pay extra for it.

I have been using them for 8 years. I bundle my cable with the internet, so I pay $120 a month. I have not had any problems with them.

They just came, connected everything, and left. It was quick and easy. They just recently switched over to high-def. We haven't had any problems with any of the equipment they provided. If we do have to call them, the problem is quickly resolved. They troubleshoot problems over the phone.

Unfortunately Suddenlink has a monopoly on cable and internet services in this part of West Virginia and they treat you like they do. Their infrastructure stinks. I am constantly losing cable/internet service and having to call them to report it and get it fixed. In addition to this, they cannot even send me a correct bill. I moved from one location to another and they continued sending me bills with charges to the old address. They claimed they had not yet had time to go over and turn off the cable at the old address. Therefore, because the service was still active, their uncommon sense pushed them to bill me at multiple locations even though I was only physically present at one. I have yet to get a correct bill from them and it is closing in on 50 days. Avoid Suddenlink if you can.
