Description of Work: Remodeled an existing room, expanded one room and added one room. The basic structural work was good but the finishing work was really terrible. The tile work was so bad that I have been awarded $8,000. by the arbitration board to have it redone. The drywall work was sloppy leaving obvious gaps and it is so irregular that it looks like it was cut freehand. The baseboards stick out 1/4 to 1/2 inch from the doorframe. There were so many small unprofessional details that it would take me an hour to write them all in. I received a judgement against him from the California State Licensing Board with monetary compensation to redo the most grievous errors and sloppy work.

+ -1 moreWhen he said he is going to be there, he is there. He is a perfectionist; if its not right, he makes sure its right. He goes that extra mile to make sure things are right and done the way he wants it done. His attitude is that he is doing his house when he is doing my house, I like it. I like his quality of work. He recommends the right way of work and gives options of doing things. I have been using him for over twenty years. He did a remodel of my house in the late 80’s and he did a fantastic job.
Description of Work: I used Janowski Builders for remodeling. They completely repaired the water damage from my leaking roof.
