Michel and his team have been building, renovating, and restoring homes in the greater San Diego area since 2004. Both his father and grandfather before him were also builders; Michel began remodeling houses as a young man. He practices his craft not to add ordinary houses to a market flooded with structures that are modern, functional and soulless but to create intimate living spaces—homes, offices, churches—that enter people’s hearts.

He was running back and forth from 2 other jobs and wasn't able to over see the work. He also had a flipped attitude and was over priced for the worked his crew performed.

"We regret that this particular client has posted this message. We have not heard from our client since December of 2006. We’ve been sending holiday cards since then to keep in touch and we were very surprised to hear from them in a negative tone. Our records show that we did work for this particular client in March of 2006. Our records also indicate that we have completed the work with success and with 100% satisfaction from this client. We received fantastic compliments as well as referrals from them. We show that we contacted them in March and in June to follow up and in December of 2006 with a Christmas greeting by way of a holiday card and a telephone call from me personally to check up and just say hello. The client expressed a great deal of satisfaction and that their garage roof is not leaking anymore even after a recent heavy rain fall. Our client’s comment on Angie’s list was a disappointing surprise to us. It’s been over 5 years since our last contact with our client and we had hoped that if we received news from them, it will be good news and that there are in good health and happy. We express our apologies to our client for anything that may have prompted their comment. We will be in contact with them to see why after 5 years, they have posted this. They charged us about $5400. They did a very good job. The crew was very good. They were all very professional. Michel is the guy who runs it and he was very professional too. He showed up on time and he e-mailed me all the information before he showed up. It included the insurance information and everything else. We were very satisfied. In fact, he just did a follow up today on how things were going. Everything was done very well. He had an excellent crew and he has kind of handpicked his crew. So, they all did really well. Everything was done professionally. We did get some lower as well as higher prices, but the price charged by them was pretty good. There were some other things that were involved that came up after they saw what they had to do and put the beam in. They also had a structural engineer come in to check out to make sure that all the numbers were run to get the correct beam and stuff like that. In fact, I am probably going to use them again for some other stuff that I want to have done.
