We Build San Diego

I really enjoyed working w/ "We Build San Diego".  Dave is very knowledgeable, straightforward, and clear in his communication.  He was very transparent about the price, which one usually does not see with contractors.  He and his men took great care and made sure that the job was done well.  The whole process went very smoothly and I am very happy with the end result.  I highly recommend them.

Dave put in a fair bid for the project but I chose him due to the great rapport we had.  I told him the architectural style the engineer and I were going for and improved on the that style.  He showed up on time with his team every morning and did very good quality work.  His team is highly skilled and understand how to do the job right.  All members of his team are easy going and easy to talk to. 
 
My project lasted 5 weeks and it included digging out 8 42" square holes 18" down in very rocky terrain.  Each hole was connected with a 12"x6" boarder which tied into the existing foundation. There was also extensive rebar and reinforcements involved.  The concrete pour went smoothly and his team did excellent finish work.  They contoured the slope of the patio into the slope of the concrete boarder, not to mention the post stand offs. 
Framing went quickly and within 1 week the basic frame was up and sheathing was started.  Extra effort went into placement of the sheathing to have no overlapping gaps in the sheets of plywood and T111.  Each rafter was spaced to not lie on the beam seems and also have a symmetrical look about the hip beam.   Once the sheathing was complete, the tile roof went up quickly and extra care was taken to water proof the connection to the house with dual metal strips attached to the stucco.
I am very happy with the results and glad I chose Dave with We Build San Diego.  I would use him again for other projects.
