Over 20 years of experience in the San Diego residential market. My passion is helping homeowners create the 'perfect feel' to their home through creative lighting and electrical solutions. I work closely with homeowners to find out their particular 'style' as well as budget, and then bring my considerable expertise to finding the best value-conscious solutions. I am an expert in trouble-shooting electrical issues, and will give you an accurate estimate of expected costs before beginning work. I have experience in all phases of electrical work including ground-up whole house, remodel, kitchens and baths, electrical panel trouble-shooting and replacement; as well as energy-efficient lighting and "smart home" solutions; and also commercial repairs. Where other companies just assumed a generic installation, Walter Electric spent a lot of time planning a customized arrangement that worked best for our particular layout. They gave more options and suggestions, and it made all the difference in the end. I would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking about lighting installation!

Keith is extremley knowlegeable and has a great eye for where and how lighting should be installed. His assistant Alan, is also knowlegeable with a great eye and understanding of the best placement. They are very professional and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend and would happily use them in the future for any new electrical needs.

First, Keith Walter worked really hard putting together a quote in the midst of the Corona Virus pandemic. Having two immune compromised family members living here, Keith assured me him and his workers would talk all the precautionary measures to protect me and my family. Keith was able to work out a estimate via email and video calls which was very reasonable and all without stepping foot on my property. Alan was the lead for my project and did an outstanding job. Alan and his crew wore all required protective gear and took proper precautions to ensure the safety of my family. End result, I am very satisfied with the customer service and professionalism of Keith and his employees. I can’t say enough good. I spent 26 years in the active duty Army and our establishment is built on trust and respect which doesn’t come easy. Walter Electric has earned my trust and respect.

I LOVED the work that Keith and his team did for me. It was so easy from start to finish. The entire team was professional, respectful, and communicative. They absolutely went above and beyond. I have an OLD house and the entire wiring needed to be redone. This seemed daunting and Keith not only walked through the whole process but even had amazing ideas for improving my current lighting situation. We replaced all the fans and lighting fixtures, added canned lights, provided updated switches that dim, added motion detectors for outside lighting, added a plug wherever I wanted and added a new heater/fan for the bathroom. Keith also outlined everything they were doing, the labor costs, and the cost of the materials so everything was so clear and there were no surprises. I am so happy with the results and truly am so appreciative. My house looks so great now!

It took a month to get it all done. We had issues with being able to be around for them get into the house. We negotiated it to make a schedule for the three of us. The best part of the experience were his vision and our vision for getting the project done and keeping it realistic. It was great to be able to dream with them and still be able to come up with a fair pricing and a good project. I will absolutely use them again.
