Everything went very well. He was very nice and professional.

I called several popular plumbing companies to replace an old dripping shower/tub faucet in the guest bath. All wanted to use their fixture and cut the shower tile to fit the new fixture, so I gave up. After a year or so, I joined Angie’s list and found Top Notch plumbing. Gordon had some fixture recommendations, but allowed me to purchase my own fixture that was compatible with my current installation. The overall install took about 3 hours. Gordon took care during the work to not damage any existing tile or carpet. He knows his craft and performed a very clean and professional install. Overall, I highly recommend Top Notch plumbing and will be saying goodbye to the popular TV advertising plumbers. Thanks Gordon!

I called Gordon to fix a leak in the water pipes feeding into our water heater. He arrived ahead of when he had thought he would be able to make it, and fixed the problem in short order. His charge was about half of what another company had quoted me on the phone. Excellent service, and I would highly recommend him.

I was reworking a hose bib on the side of my house and damaged the pipe. I had the water turned off for the complete house. So I turned to Yelp to find a plumber. Not to far down the list was Top Notch with some good reviews. I called and spoke to the owner Gordon and told him I was in a bind as the water was turned off for the whole house. He told me he could come out today but it would be a few hours. I told him that was fine and went about things. Before I knew it he was at my door. I showed him the leak and he went about things in a professional way. He was done before I knew it. His price was fair, his work was good, his service was prompt and on top of that a real nice guy. I finally found a good plummer.

I really appreciate Gordon's integrity. He approaches each job with the well being of the customer in his mind. He didn't try to up sell me on anything which I appreciated. He was responsive and courteous. I found his pricing to be very reasonable. I would recommend Top Notch to anyone.

We woke up 6:15 Sunday morning by the doorbell; Our neighbor alerting us to flooding coming out under our garage door. I called several companies and Gordon was the first to call back before 8:00 am. He would have come out on Sunday but we decided we could hang on till Monday. He showed up a little before 8:00 am to drain the water heater and was back about an hour later to install the new one. It all went well and the installation looks great; very professional.

Top Notch is a very good description of the service I received from Gordon.  Contacted him for an appointment with a very fast response.  He confirmed the appointment and arrival time beforehand, something that I appreciate very much.  Was very prompt, professional, neat, and courteous, all traits you don't always find in tradespeople these days.  Price was fair and quoted upfront.  Explained everything that needed to be done in a clear and concise manner.

We had discovered that our water meter was continuing to run, even though we thought we had no water on anywhere.  We found Top Notch Plumbing on Angie's List, and we are so glad we did.  Gordon referred us to a leak detection service, and then came out afterwards and fixed the leak that was found in our son's bathroom.

That leak required cutting a hole in the closet wall to get to the pipes because of the age of the fixtures.  Gordon also referred us to a drywall company who came out the very next day to repair the drywall.

He also pointed out to us that the main water shut-off valve to the house was not completely shutting off the water.  So he fixed that as well while he was here, as well as replacing the knobs on the shut-off valves in our guest bathroom.

We have a drain in our laundry room that needs snaking every 6 months.  Our previous plumber recently retired.  We will definitely be using Gordon at Top Notch Plumbing for that as well.

Gordon was on time, super friendly and finished the job in an hour. I had some questions about waterless heaters and it was clear to me that he was not after a sale or installation. Good person, honest, fast and his work was flawless.

They cleared the problem but I feel like I was priced gauged.   I will not use this company again as I feel they are grossly overpriced.   

TOP NOTCH PLUMBING were outstanding, knowledgeable, on time, very fairly priced, polite, professional, and worked to repair the issue. 

It went well. He was the only one I could get out on short notice and without me being home. Unfortunately the same coil started leaking 2 weeks ago and I couldn't get a hold of him and called another plumbing company that I had used before and they ended up replacing both coils and a turn off valve for less.

Awesome service, Gordon was great - got me a spot in a hurry, did great work, provided thorough answers to numerous questions, quality work done right!

Gordon Reherford (sp?), the owner, resonded to our call and worked his schedlue to accomodate us.  He arrived on time, was polite, informed, and presentable...as was his vehicle and equipment. heater work was mostly in the garage, he had to come in the house repeatedly to check the quality of the water.  He rmoved his shoes and was careful with his presence (tool belts, etc.) arround all of our furniture.
We have been looking for an ew plumbe being dissatisfied with our previous plumber.  Therefore, we quizzed Gordon on a number of subjects and sought advice in a number of areas. He was patient, helpful and knowledgeable and DID NOT RUSH US.  He di and excellent job and left the work spaces he was in spotless...including the garage.
We recommend him to anyone.  we were very pleased and will definitely use him again

About two weeks ago we noticed a small amount of water below the water heater and immediately knew we needed to have it checked out. We called out a company to check it out who informed us we had an internal leak and would need it replaced.  At this point I went to Angie's list to find local plumbing companies and after looking at several models and brands of water heaters we knew we wanted to go with a Bradford white, the same brand we had.  I then researched companies that offered this brand and found Top Notch Plumbing.  After speaking with Gordon on the phone and explaining what the issue was he quoted us over the phone. I then read reviews on his company before moving forward.  I called him back a couple days later to make an appointment. He was able to get us in the next morning.  His appointment was at 9AM and he was on time!!  He replaced the earthquake straps and a gas line that ran to the water heater.  He didn't have to replace them, but was honest and knew they needed to be replaced.  I was very impressed with Gordon, he completed the install about 2 hours after he arrived and went over everything before he left.  Within 20 mins of him leaving we had hot water, hotter water than we ever did before!  Thank you so much Gordon of Top Notch Pluming! If we need a plumber in the future we will call you!

Called and made an appointment. Arrived on time and was courteous. Job completed quickly and problem solved. A bit pricey for a simple job.

The day the work began he arrived promptly.  I asked Gordon the day before the work was to begin if I should cover my bedroom furniture and belongings with plastic and was told no there wouldn't be much in the way of dust or debris for this small of an area.  I was not able to go in my room for a week as I have asthma and everything was completely covered in concrete dust.  
     I asked for a breakdown of the cost for this repair because the insurance company said they received an estimate of  more than twice the original estimate.  I did not receive a breakdown just a total which I was told the insurance would be covering.  The job lasted a week and is now completed. Gordon did provide a cleaning lady for the clean up which was excellent.
      The total cost was more than three times the original estimate.  The amount of work remained the same with the exception of two leaks in one pipe two feet apart rather than the one leak.  My out of pocket expense ended up being $1000. 
      Gordon did not honor the 5% discount he said he could only give me $50 off. 

they were at my house for an hour and they got it all running quick!  Its really gross when dirty water is coming up from your tub, kitchen sink, and even the dish washer had clogged with stink water.  Thanks Gorden!
