The installation appeared to go well. After the rains started, however, the windows along the south side of the house all began to leak water behind the drywall and into the wood flooring. This eventually required the removal of most of the flooring and drywall due to water damage. The owner of Taylor Trim stated that he would stand behind his work and suggested thousands of $ of destructive testing (at our cost). When the testing results indicated that the problem was with a faulty installation, the owner stated that it was not his fault and would not take responsibility for correcting the leaks. Almost 3 years later, we are stil in litigation over the windows and the owner shut down (declared bankruptcy for) his shell company that provided the window installation to open up business under the Taylor Trim name again.
