SunX Solar Systems Inc.

We have incurred financial expenses due to a faulty Heliocol Pool Solar panel installed by SunX (Authorized Dealer of Heliocol under a 12 warranty contract) that further led to a water leak through our ceiling. We have supplied images, sent multiple email communications and had multiple phone calls with company representatives (including General Manager), and they have refused to offer any immediate action after two months of reported damage or offer payment for the cost of repair and did not even care to send a representative to assess the damage.

They were always on time, professional, responsive, and they did what they said they would do. We are using them for another property as well.

The installers arrived on time and the only issue was that they were one man short due to illness which meant that they couldn't finish the job the same day.  But I was impressed that they moved things around so that the job could be completed the following day.  The installers had to work around an existing roof top solar electric system and did so without damaging any of that equipment or any of the roof tiles.  The installers did not make assumptions on where to place inflow and outflow piping to the roof, and presented us with several options to choose from which I appreciated.  They were careful to take the turf up carefully when trenching through the existing lawn and to replace and water it thoroughly afterward so it wouldn't be damaged.   There are a lot of extraneous features with our pool - a slide, a waterfall, a spillway, a connected spa and when the variable pump was installed, the waterslide no longer came on, something we discovered after the job was complete.  To SunX's credit, they were very prompt at sending out technician Jeremy to diagnose and fix the problem such that the waterslide was reconnected properly.  It was not an easy wiring issue to track down but Jeremy stuck with it when others might have given up and I really appreciated his persistence.  SunX's customer service and desire to achieve customer satisfaction are really impressive.  I would highly recommend them.

Everything went very well from the start.
The sales rep was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the system, and was able to answer all my questions very thoroughly,(and I had a lot!).  He also helped me decide how many panels to put up.
The installation team did a great job, were quick and efficient, and they even took pictures of the progress of the installation for me.  Installation was completed in 2 days.
Everyone was courteous, tidy, everything was cleaned up after the work was completed.  Everything ran according to schedule.
The electrician explained how it was all wired up, explained how to switch it on and off, in a very thorough and understandable way.
The city inspector delayed things over the weekend, but signed everything off with no issues at all, and SDG&E approved it all a couple of days after that.
I would recommend SunX to anyone, and would use them again myself if the need arose.

Angie's List gave them high praises. I am not looking for the regular electric solar that every body is going for. Compared to the other companies, they said only half of the solar on my roof needs to be replaced so they were honest. They were timely, they did an awesome job in cleaning up and never broke any tiles because I have very expensive clay tiles on my roof and I was very pleased with that.

They came, they diagnosed, they fixed it, all on time and for no charge. Sunx had assimilated SON Energy and honored their warranty to me. I would definitely use them again.
