My out-of-town elderly Dad had the above problem on his computer which rendered the computer useless for his needs. I scheduled a home visit with SanDiego-Tech the next day. Casey, the tech, fixed the problem as described above, notably taking care of everything that needed to be done to get the computer up and operating again. Casey was very knowledge-able about the software issues that had occurred and was very pleasant. From what I could tell the charge was equivalent to other companies that provide home computer repair services, and we definitely felt like we got our moneys worth.
