I called Jim on Monday afternoon and he said he could come by between 8:00-9:00 Tuesday morning. He arrived around 8:50, looked at the problem and said he would need to replace the plastic bracket at the back. He said he could come back on Wednesday morning between 8:00 and 8:30 to fix it. He arrived about 8:20 and finished the job in about 10 minutes.
I was very pleased to find someone close who was willing to do such a small job like this and charge for the job itself rather than an hourly rate with a two-hour minimum. I found Jim to be punctual, professional, helpful, and nice. I was impressed that he was willing to stop by a store and pick up the part on his own time as other handymen I have used charge for the time to go to the store and back. I will definitely call him for future work.
