The name of the principal is Shawn Ellison. He has also come out July of 2014. I called him because I thought that I would need a very expensive replacement of my filter. Instead, he aid its very minor electrical problem that he fixed within 10 minutes. He charged me his minimal service call plus he also flushed the filters. He did more than I asked for less than I expected. I would call him again in a minute.

It started slowly. The guy is super busy but worth waiting for.

We decided to convert our 7 year old pond to pondless for a number of reasons. First, we are expecting our first grandchild and wanted to eliminate the possibility of drowning. Secondly, I no longer wanted to deal with the ongoing maintenance due to algae. Thirdly, we wanted to change the design of the pond as well as the waterfall.

Shawn arrived on time, and gave us a bid for the pond conversion. We were impressed with his knowledge and years of working with ponds. After reviewing three bids, we selected Shawn to do the work. We were very happy with how Shawn incorporated our ideas into the design of the new pond.

Shawn spent three days converting the pond to pondless. We are very happy with the result.

Our old pond filter had not worked in over a year. The pond itself was overgrown, dank, and filled with muck. The original waterfall was designed poorly and leaked. At our request, Shawn gave us two estimates: one to re-do the plumbing to the filter and repair the original waterfall, and a second to do a less extensive job that didn't involve digging up the yard to lay new pipes or to repair the large waterfall.
We chose the less-expensive and -extensive option. Shawn emptied the old pond, even carefully dumping the sludge as I directed on my garden to amend the soil. He brought large buckets to house the mosquito eater fish he carefully saved before draining the pond. He brought in a crew to re-seal the pond, laid new pipes to the redesigned and smaller waterfall, replaced the filter medium as well as adding an extra filter to facilitate maintenance. The job was done within the time specified and the clean-up was efficient. Shawn returned not once but twice to make minor adjustments in the rocks in and around the waterfall to achieve a fall that looks and sounds very natural. He even e-mailed a few weeks later to be sure we were happy with the final result.
His craftmanship with rocks is artistic, his service is professional and his follow-up was a delightful reminder of how he takes pride in doing a job right. My vegetable garden also thanks Shawn for the lovely soil amendments.

Shawn arrived on time and was very courteous.  Shawn did a general inspection of my Koi pond and repaired/replaced a float valve that wasn't working properly.   The new valve is working great and my pond is doing very well.   I will defiinately call on Shawn for any future issues with my pond.

I had an existing urn fountain in the front of my driveway circle which was broken.  I called Pondogy to replace the broken urn.  The owner, Shawn, suggested a way to use a fraction of the amount of water that had been circulating previously.  I purchased a new urn.  Shawn picked it up from the pottery location, retrofitted the inner portion of the urn for water conservation, and installed the new urn on my property.  He leveled the urn, hooked up the moter, and made sure the water circulated properly.  He and his staff were prompt, courteous, and professional.  The owner, Shawn, does high quality work and takes pride in the outcome. I highly recommend Pondology.

Great! He got back to me right away and we scheduled a day the following week. Showed up on time and we discussed the scope of the project. Very helpful with a lot of general questions I had. Completed the work that day. It took several hours of manual labor on a hot day. The pond looked great and really cleared up a few days later (normal to take a few days), once everything settled down. He gave tips on maintenance and we discussed a future re-plumbing project I might have him come back and do at a later date.

Shawn is not just a contractor to install and clean out your pond or install a water feature. He is an artist. He takes great pride in his work. It shows. He listens to the customer. He is extremely professional. He responds to your requests as soon as possible. I understand why the previous owners spoke so highly of him. I strongly recommend Pondology for any water feature needs.
