PERFORMANCE SOLAR INC

I have dealt with MANY vendors for my home and this one was the MOST disappointing. I would NEVER refer anyone to Performance Solar. They are very quick to get your business but will treat you horribly after you've spent thousands of dollars on their solar panels!
With the initial installation of the pool solar panels in November I had an average to good experience. The business development person did try to work with the space we had on our rooftop with the impending installation of the home solar panels with another company. That was a much better experience. However, their lack of professionalism for follow-up post installation, their lack of knowledge of making sure they connect to any new equipment, lack of communication and outrageous fees ruined any initial experience I ever had with them.
Not only did that $127.50 still appear on my credit card statement but our weekly pool service company figured out the problem and gave us a no-charge for connecting the filter to the solar panels. Thanks, but no thanks, Performance Solar.

We were out of town when it was installed, but they did an excellent job and cleaned up the area when they were finished. When we returned, a tech came out and demonstrated how to use the system.

There are 3 major players in the solar panel industry in Phoenix and even though I rated this company a C, I still feel they were better than the others in product quality and installation. One of the other companies has a very poor record with the BBB and the other carries an inferior product so I would still hire performance solar in the future. My complaints about them were that they were 6 hours late for their first appointment to install panels and then when they were scheduled for the second phase they didn't show up at all and when I called they said they'd be out the next day. I'm happy with the quality of installation once they showed up and the panels are working great.

We love this feature of our pool, after the installation costs, the pool is ready to be used earlier in the spring and later in the fall without added cost. The installation went well and it works beautifully. I'm glad we called this company and would encourage others to do so as well.

Six week delay in installation. Fairly good communication re: cause of delay. In the 8 months since installed, 3 visits were needed to tighten connections where there were leaks. They did respond promptly each time and there was no charge for these adjustments. The unit does work well with an automatic switch.

Would not recommend.
