A+ Service! Professional,polite, and punctual. Did excellent work at very competitive pricing. Spent a full 8 hours cleaning my 2 story Spanish tile roof. Roof now looks as good as new!
Cleanup was very thorough. Hector even cleaned my neighbor's walkway on the side of his house to remove a small amount of over-spray. Now my house and my neighbor's look much better then before this service.
I have no regrets and can't recommend any areas that they could have improved. I will definitely be calling them back next time my roof needs cleaning.
If you have algae or mildew growth on your roof and want to restore it to its original condition then you'l be thrilled with this company!

I contracted with Hector Palacios to powerwash our home with special attention to the roof and stucco which had been subject to debris and soot from the recent Poinsettia fire. I cannot more highly recommend his services not only because of the quality of the work but because Hector is the kind of person I like doing business with.
He was professional and respectful, technically knowledgeable, provided high attention to detail, was prompt and efficient, AND very price competitive.
An important consideration to tile roof cleaning is not having more tile damage from people on your roof. Hector was very careful about weight distribution and where he places his feet while washing the roof. He uses a high compression circular spray rather than just a fan spray which kept my neighbors' houses clean.
Hector was on the job over 8 hours and once done, he went back up on the main roof (2 stories) to caulk previously cracked tiles where the builder's caulking had come loose. His attention to detail also included a mesh trap at the storm sewer over 100 yards down hill to prevent debris and roof sludge from going into the storm drain.
Our house was ready for painting in one day and I had the confidence that Pacific Coast Sealants had done an outstanding job. Thanks Hector and you can be sure we'll be recommending you to friends and others in our neighborhood!

Hector called in advance to advise me how to prepare for the cleaning--move patio furniture out of the way, notify neighbors, etc. Hector then arrived on time in the AM. He carefully prepared for the cleaning. For the next 7 hours he personally power washed the mold, etc. of the roof tiles. He did an outstanding job. The roof looks great. And he cleaned up the premises quite well.

My red tile roof had that green layer that looks so disgusting - algae buildup from at least 8 year of no cleaning. I called Hector at Pacific Coast Sealants because he had good reviews on Angie's list. He is an owner operator, and has one person to help him, but Hector is the only one who goes up on the roof. He provided me copies of his contractor's license and contractor's bond. I didn't want someone slipping and falling off that roof and suing me! He gave me a quote of $550, but with my Angie's list discount it was $495. I received one other bid from a general contractor for $750, which I thought was high. I went with Hector at Pacific Coast Sealants.
Hector also recommended my type of tile roof not be sealed, as he said the sealants are expensive and only are guaranteed 5 years. He thought it was better to clean the roof every 5 years. I thought that made sense, and I really didn't want to put poisonous chemicals on my roof and have them wash off on my plants.
The day they came with the truck and supplies, Hector and his assistant were very polite and professional. They had lots of hoses and I'm not sure what all, as I had to work at the office that day. When I returned around 4:30 PM, they were just finishing up. I was pleased to see no green slime on the roof - it looked like a new roof! Also no green slime on my patio, my bark or gutter - I'm not sure how they cleaned it all up, but they knew what they were doing. They even installed some window solar screens for me on the second floor, as I couldn't access them myself.
The only problem was minor - I had some mud seepage under the laundry room door, which had been locked. I cleaned it up and also checked all my windowsills. Only one window had leaked so I cleaned that up. So be sure to check inside for water/mud as not all windows and doors are leakproof, at least in my house.

Hector and his co-worker showed up on time and did a great job! Not only did they do a great job cleaning the roof, but they were also very good at cleaning up the run-off. They recaptured the run-off and recycled it into the lawn so that there was no dirty red water running along the curb like all of our neighbors had at their roof cleaning. Also, Hector checked for broken tiles and was kind enough to return the next day to replace it. Hector also honored Angie's List members discount of 10%. He is the best and we highly recommend Hector to anyone looking to clean their roof!

Hector and his co-worker showed-up on-time and did a beautiful job. There are some vines we need to remove that are growing on the side of the house that are covering part of the roof. Hector offered to come back for a free service call to touch-up that area once we have the vines removed.

Hector did a great job. We have a clay tile roof that had never been cleaned in 22 yrs. Hector came out and gave a very reasonable estimate (it was $200 less than an estimate I received from a competitor). He arrived early for work and worked very hard all day to clean the roof. As dirty water came off the roof he collected it and used it to water the grass. It is a very labor intensive process. Hector and his associate really earn their money. I would not like to try to walk around on dirty slippery roofs with power washing equipment. I would recommend his services without hesitation. He did not try to sell me a sealant because he said my type of roof does not need them. He also provides the correct type of replacement tiles in case any tiles are already broken or become broken during the cleaning process. Thanks Hector!!!

I saw their add in North San Diego Living magazine & called to set up an appointment to get an estimate. They came the next day & I was impressed with their knowledge, politeness & price. They came 2 days later to actually start the two day job while I was at work. Even though it had to be very messy getting all the gunk & algae off the roof, when I came home there was no mess at all & a clean roof! The next day they came & colored the roof-by hand around the whole perimeter-& sealed it. I was amazed at how beautiful it looks-just like it was when installed 28 years ago. I was worried about the color being too orange but they even added a little red to make it match the brick trim & it's perfect!
