North County Vacuum

North County Vacuum appears to be a SCAM company... We have been trying for the entire month of October to get North County Vacuum to come out to our house to reinstall the muffler that melted and fell off. Charles (Chuck) Drexler, the owner, has been stringing us along by promising he would send out his employees to repair our central vacuum unit. Phone calls, text messages and e-mails were used to communicate with Chuck, but he has decided to no longer respond for almost 2 weeks. North County Vacuum installed the Vacuflo central vacuum unit on April 8, 2022. He quickly scheduled the appointment to install the system however, servicing it when maintenance is required seems to be an issue for North County Vacuum. Chuck told us during one of the calls, â I can send you the part and you can connect it on your ownâ . We told him we were willing to try but he never sent the part and failed to communicate from that point on. The North County Vacuum website lists the original business phone number, which was recently disconnected. It appears he is winding down his business. BUYER BEWARE! I was very pleased with their knowledge and willingness to help with my central vacuum install. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Eugene was very competent and patiently explained the installation to me. I enjoyed speaking with him. He suggested a new tank instead of repairing the old motors and this made sense to my wife and myself given the relative costs and the age of the original system. He carefully tested the new system with me after the installation. I endorse the company.

They did a good repair, I'd just suggest that they carry a replacement part on their truck so the repair could be done in one trip

Jesse arrived a week earlier then scheduled! and apologized for having to be in traffic... I am very thankful to both Chuck and Jesse for making it possible for me to get the house vacuumed much sooner then originally anticipated. Thank you both for your great work.

The installer Jessie was awesome, very helpful and accomodating. He is a Navy veteran. He worked extra time to get installation done. Came on day off because of a remodel. Owner Chuck was helpful and answered questions.

Original date scheduled the repairman couldn't make due to a previous job taking much longer than expected. They called on the next work day and asked if they could come that morning. Repairman was very polite, knowledgeable and completed the task requested within a very reasonable time. Where I thought I was going to have to buy a new handle and hose, he said No, he could fix so that it would stop separating. Very happy about this.

Chuck and the North County Vacuum team are the best! They listened to what I wanted and made great suggestions. Their installation was quick and clean. I'm delighted with my new central vacuum system. It's lightweight, no odor, and quiet. My dogs no longer run in terror when I vacuum.

$125 service fee seemed really high for just showing up and replacing a vacuum but service guy was really nice and got the job done.
