I bought a home built in the 70's that has stairs with railings more than 4 inches which can allow small children to slip out. I decided to fix that by adding iron balusters which I purchased from Lowe's. I needed a welder so I called around and found George. I called him, agreed on the price and scheduled him to come the next day. He came on time with his nephew and went to work in my garage, cutting the balusters with their tool. The work took about 6 hours, including spray-painting the welded joints to match the color. My wife and I were very satisfied with his work. The only glitch was that his nephew cut more baluster than he should (we bought extra just in case) and George apologized for that since we couldn't return it to the store.
