It’s a very good experience. it’s not like when you were younger and you go into a car dealer they are treating you like some moran. They talk to you, eye contact, this is what we are going to review and we’ll let you know if something comes up before we act on it. When they show you something they tell you the range of well, this is dangerous or this needs to be replaced. They usually give you some static to what they are talking about so you can make a rational decision.

Kevin McAdam has been our service advisor for 10 years. He is awesome. I trust him. He communicates well, returns phone calls, explains things, is never pushy and always provides an honest assesment. Honda of Escondido doesn't deserve him and he is the only reason I take my 2003 Honda Odyssey there for service.

Went in for an oil change; they were helpful. Remembered what oil I had used in the past. Helpful and fast.

They are fine. There is no cost as long as you have a new car service, so it works out really well. I will use them again in the future.

With the promise from the sales rep, I agreed to have my Honda Civic repaired to the estimate of over $4,000. When I came back to pay for the repairs, the discount was less than $100, not the $600+ that I was promised. The 15% off coupon was only for the 75,000 service, not the total $4,000 repairs and promised. The only reason that I agreed to the repairs was the promise that I would receive a 15% reduction on the entire bill. I complained to the general manager and was totally blown off. I was forced to pay the inflated invoice in order to retrieve my Honda. I wrote several letters to the service manager, general manager, etc. All of them blew me off. I explained that I had been a very loyal customer to their auto group. I purchased an Acura, Honda minivan and a new Mazda from their dealerships. That meant nothing to them. They were more concerned in taking advantage of a loyal customer than any repeat business from me. I want to warn all of Angie's List subscribers to never do business with Honda of Escondido. Do not buy a vehicle from them or ever use their service department. Take it from me; I will never set foot on their lot again. If I can save anyone from the grief that I went through, that would help me feel better about the horrible experience that I had to endure.
