Ron is a true pro, and his work is excellent. Very easy to work with, from start to finish. Delivered ahead of schedule. He gets my highest recommendation.

The overall experience was very rewarding. Ron came to the home, took measurements, discussed my wants and desires, and gave input on what he thought would work/look best. He emailed sketches, took feedback very well and came back a second time to ensure his drawings were exactly what I wanted. The day of installation was hassle free (I didn't even have to be at the house)! When I returned home, the outcome exceeded my expectation. I did ask him to come out and make one change and he did so without any hesitation to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. It was clear he took great pride in his workmanship.

Hanson House did an excellent job building and installing my new kitchen cabinets. The owner, Ron Hanson, visited my house initially to measure the dimensions of the new kitchen cabinets, and prepared a price quote based on the measurements. After accepting a 10% deposit Ron visited our house once more to interview me and my wife on our desires for our new kitchen and to prepare for a detailed set of drawings. Ron provided the detailed drawings about two weeks after the second visit to the house. At that time he requested my formal approval of the drawings along with a second progress-payment on the quoted price. Via e-mail he answered several questions about the drawings and made some small changes as necessary.

After we approved the drawings Ron began fabricating the cabinets. He provided us with several samples of potential finishes to the cabinets and did a great job coordinating the finish of our cabinets with our existing formal dining room furniture and new wood flooring we planned to install in the kitchen. Ron has a good eye for matching wood finishes and provided us with several sample chips of the cabinet finish until we got it and quot;just rightand quot;.

Prior to installing the cabinets Ron invited me to inspect the cabinets at his workshop in Escondido. There, he showed me the cabinets and offered to make any necessary changes. Upon approval he collected another progress payment.

Ron then installed the cabinets in our new kitchen in about 1.5 working days. He employed an assistant to help him with the installation, which proceeded smoothly and was done professionally. Following cabinet installation I discovered one small flaw in the cabinets based on a measurement error. Ron neglected to factor-in the height of my new wood flooring sitting under the new cabinets. As a result he built the dishwasher opening 3/4and quot; too short, and the finishing plumber had difficulty installing the dishwasher. Upon notifying Ron of the problem, Ron returned to our house within a couple of days and cut the dishwasher opening to the correct height. The repair looked fine and Ron resolved the problem completely. He also repaired some minor installation damage to one of the cabinet shelves, quickly and professionally.

Ron is a good cabinet-maker and I'd recommend his work to anyone. As a custom cabinet-maker his price is more than that pre-fab/off-the-shelf providers. However Ron provides additional value for the additional cost, dollar-for-dollar. Our new cabinets fit our kitchen perfectly, and are custom-designed and custom-finished to match our dining furniture set and other aspects of our home decor.
