All the wetness, from the second effort, again took out the color initially, but as it dried it brought up the greenish/bluish color again from the pad underneath, and a light pinkish tint from the original lipstick stain returned. With no fan for drying out the wetness, it took 2-3 days to dry. When we noticed the greenish/bluish color on 10 Oct, my husband contacted the company and they said they would look into it - but 4 days later we have yet to hear from them. We had to pay $225 for another company to come out and deal with the botched work - which also included dealing with mold now. The new company completely removed the mold and restored the carpet to its natural state, and got out about 95% of the color (which may still fade more). They left a fan overnight to promptly dry out their treatment. I had not contacted Earth Friendly Cleaning Solutions myself, but they saw our “proposal” on Angie’s List and called us. Other companies my husband had contacted were busy and couldn’t come out for a couple days, so we asked Earth Friendly to come out. They were certainly pleasant and courteous - but the results were pretty disastrous.
