Description of Work: I have an old sewing machine that has not run well for a while. I took it to another shop about a year ago. The man who services it really didn't listen to what I told him was wrong with it. It worked a little better, was was not fixed. It finally quit running at all. I took it to Coast and Sam (the sewing machine repairman) asked what the problem was. He said my machine is old but he could still get parts for it because it was not electronic. He called and told me what was wrong and what the cost would be. The main problem was that the oil in it was very old and gummed up. He also replaced a timing mechanism and a belt. It works great! I couldn't be happier! I don't sew enough to buy a new machine. The price was reasonable for what he did.

 + -1 moreThe cord was coming out of the electrical plug. Took the vacuum in to have the plug changed and the filter cleaned.
Description of Work: I thought that $50 was a bit expensive to change the plug on the electrical cord and clean the filter.
