This was a very smooth but complicated process, from beginning to end. Brian and his crew were efficient, clean & everything was completed on time. Having pipes replaced is not an easy or cheap thing to do, but Berck's was the perfect match to do this job. We did not have to leave our house, the water was turned off for a total of 5 hours during the entire process which was 3 days! Since the upgraded copper pipes are in the attic as is now required, the pipes were insulated so there is no noise from water running through them. This job is guaranteed for the rest of my lifetime, and any successive owner of my home! I would highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs. This company is family owned and has been in business for over 30 years. They were the only plumbing company who returned our phone call when we had the first pin hole leak in a copper pipe in the garage on a Sunday. This speaks very highly of them, since the other 3 well-known companies who advertise all over the place on television did not ever return our calls. Berck's may not be the cheapest, but they were fair and gave me great peace-of-mind during the whole process. I trust them and would highly recommend them based on my experience!

They were not timely at all.  They did not do the job correctly the first time and then took forever to get out to fix the problem.  They finally did get it fixed, but not responsive at all.

Went bad after 1 minute with Erik..He was upset that I was quoted a price and wanted to know who said that. He was going to have to remove stucco from wall and I questioned this as there was appx 3 inches of lead pipe exposed. I said I was quoted the 112 price which p***** him off and I said i wasn't going to pay 2-300.00 for a faucet replacement...Erik then asked in a condescending way if I wanted the faucet fixed or what. I then asked him to leave and would hire someone else....

PS...Hannah Plumbing came to complete job and didn't need to remove stucco from my home....Just an FYI...

Our AC went out so we called a couple companies to get quotes.  Bercks quoted us $980 just to get the system up and running.  He needed 3-4 days to get the work done and charged us $66.00 for the service call.  He suggested we invest $3250 for a new AC system.  Another heating and air repair service fixed the problem in 30 minutes.  An internal breaker had tripped.  He cleaned the system, checked the refrigerant levels and charged us $100.  When I do need to purchase a new system, I know who I will call.

This was a nightmare which they were not forced to address because of statue of limitations was 4 years. I discovered their error when I had an inspection.

I've been using them for many years. I purchased a contract with them so they can keep up the maintenance for me. I negotiated a 3 year contract with one of the owner for the maintenance in 2007. This year I called and they said they don't do that. I spoke with the manager there and they said they'd do it this one time but no more. When the tech came he wrote on the ticket that this was 3 of 3 and I caught it. He did change it once I said something but I will never have them back here again.

I was promised arrival time between 8 and 10 am. on Friday morning. No one showed or called. So I contacted them and was repeatedly told to keep waiting as plumber was on his way. At 8:00 pm. that night, Christian the plumber called to ask if I still wanted service that day. After explaining the plumbing issue, he said the pipes would not "burst" and that I could wait for service until following day because it would take him 2 hours to fix it, and he was not getting paid overtime. After calling 3 times to ask if I really wanted him to come that night, his last call was to say he had no gas to get here and no money to buy gas. I called 24 hour emergency number, but got no response. At 8 o'clock next morning, I called again. Receptionist said she had no plumber to send that day (Saturday), and that I should find another company to fix leaking regulator.

I really think this is a company without honor. They never called me back and when I did speak to someone they were very rude. I ended up having to use another company to correct the problem.
