I thought that the lock in the front door was worn out . Band B quickly removed and inspected everything- found out that built up gunk was the problem. They cleaned it out, re-installed and told me about the Triflow spray that solves this problem. They didn't recommend anything that would have cost me more, were efficient, professional and personable. Lock works just fine.

They were very good and prompt. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He cleaned up well and was in and out in a minimal amount of time.

We were robbed for the second (possibly 3rd) time in 6 months most likely by someone we know. This necessitated the changing of the locks in the house. I found B and B Lock and Safe on Angies List on Wednesday February 20, 2013 and gave them a call. Becuase of the time of the call ( I believe late afternoon) they were not able to come out that day. My schedule prevented them coming out the next day, so we scheduled an appointment for Friday February 22, 2013 between 9am and 10:30am. During the sceduling appointment I was told they don't usually schedule appointments until the morning of, however they were able to schedule my appointment as it was a morning appointment. I don't recall if I asked for an estimate of cost when I scheduled the appointment, but I was asked for number of locks to be re-keyed and how many new keys I would need. Locksmith, Bill Rhoads arrived approximately 10 am, confirmed how many locks to be re-keyed and how may new keys and at that time told me how much it would be before he started the job. There was a little bit of a problem with one of the deadbolts, it was old and didn't function properly, but Mr. Rhoads repaired it in the course of re-keying and there was no extra charge. He completed the re-keying in approximately 1/2 hour. He provided an itemized invoice, took my payment info and departed. The total cost was $95.74, $60.00 Trip charge, $10.50 per lock to re-key (2 locks), $1.95+ tax per new key (7 keys) and little peace of mind knowing who has keys to our home. Unlike the reason for needing the Locksmith, the re-keying experience was painless and done professionally. I would recommend and I will personally use Band B Lock and Safe in the future.

They are great people. They are very fair and do not try and nickel and dime you.

It was a good experience. Band B is a well known company in Escondido, CA. They have resources that other locksmiths do not.

The technician was on time and very pleasant. He answered all of my questions as well as explaining what he was doing. Then he had me choose a new combination. He was able re configure the lock in a very short time. When he was finished he showed me how to use the the lock properly. The price was very reasonable and I would use B and B again in the future. I highly recommend them, they are great!
