Andy's Tree Service

Awesome! Andy is prompt and efficient. He is not a big grabber. His estimate was very reasonable. He has his system down like a fine tooth comb. One set of guys came out and trimmed the trees. Another group came to remove the stump and removal of debris. Everyone was very nice. My tangerine tree had tons of fruit left. After they trim the branches they asked if they could have some oranges. Absolutely! It’s coming off the branches I was disposing of.

The whole thing started from a pepper tree that was getting to the power lines coming from utility pole to our hose. I called Andy to get an offer to cut down the pepper tree and when he came I also spoke to him about possibility of cutting the other trees too. Andy made me an offer I could not refuse so I decided to let him take care of all the trees at the same time. I'm really happy that I took Andy and his team to do the job as they clearly knew what they were doing. Especially I was pleased to see that the guy, forgot his name already, who does the climbing to the trees had all needed safety gear, tools and skills to do this job right. Before calling Andy I asked some quotes from gardeners who's business cards I happened to have or who were working for our friends. All these guys claim the do tree service but all their offers were in the same range as Andy's and none of them ever called back once I asked if they were insured. So what I'm saying is that if you really need someone for a real tree service forget all the landscaping guys cutting your lawn and call Andy. PS. Note that I only asked Andy to cut down the Eucalyptus trees and leave the trunks on my yard and I will take care of those myself. This was a way for me to save some money as it would have taken lot of time for his team to clean up and haul away everything thus his quote would have been quite a lot higher, I think.

Excellent job.

It's went VERY well.  Andy was very responsive and knowledgeable, and his crew did wonders with all our trees.  We just purchased our home and the trees were all overgrown.  8+ Mexican fan palms, 7 queen palms, a carrotwood, giant pepper, some sort of pineapple palm, and cleared a ton of eucalyptus.  We were very pleased with his service, price, and would recommend him to any of our neighbors.

The owner, Andy Batha  , came over and provided an estimate the same day I called. He gave me an Angie's List member discount and the price was reasonable considering Andy is licensed, insured and bonded.. A few days later he called to schedule the day and time for the work. On Monday morning , he arrived with two workers on time, made certain they understood what was to be done and the work was done quickly and correctly.  They cleaned up my yard and hauled away all debris. Nothing in the yard was damaged.

They job went well and the workers cleaned up after themselves. Andy did an estimate and the work I needed done qualified for the deal. The workers did a good job.

He advised me that to cut the Phoenix Palm he would need to purchas a new chainsaw blade so that he could do the work correctly. The work was excellent. He was very thorough he understood what he was trying to cut and how to do it properly. He was very honest I will defiantly use him again.

Andy provided an estimate. Work was performed on schedule. He was very conscientious and was very careful not to damage anything. I will be hiring him again.

Arrived on time, helped me open a gate to my yard. Moved all the many yard ornaments out of the way before they started. Topped and trimmed a very large mulberry tree that was growing over my roof. Did a through job and when they were done, they raked and blew all the leaves and branches up and put all my ornaments back. They did a very through job and I was happy with the job they did.

Andy and crew arrived on time and provided an excellent, thorough trim in just a few hours. Not only did they perform an excellent job on the trees,they also did an excellent on post job cleanup.Great job and price. Will call Andy for future tree trimming.

Crew showed up at 9:00 in the morning, completed the work by 5:00.

I've been using him before I got on to Angie's List.  He is pretty good.  I got a flyer in the mail; I called him and had him come out.  I got a quote from couple of different guys and he seemed to be most reasonable so that's why I went with him and I've been using him ever since.

He is good, and he really knows what he is doing. I have used him twice. My daughter who has two acres uses him too; he does her yard and her rental. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future if necessary.

I called to get an estimate and he came out the next day. I thought it was a very reasonable price, so I decided to go ahead with the work. He told me that they wouldn't be able to come until the end of the next week, which was fine. The next week came and he called and said it probably wouldn't be until the week after that and he would call me. That week came and went and I heard nothing, so I called him. He said it would be the next week. Somewhere in there he showed up at my door at 8:00pm because he had lost his book with client phone numbers. The next week came and it was raining on the day they were to come, so it turned into the following week. They were supposed to come on Tuesday, but he called on Monday night to say they wouldn't come until Wednesday because he wanted to do another client on the same day as mine and that person's back yard was under water. Then he called on Tuesday night and asked if he had said they would be coming on Wednesday because he had meant to say Thursday. Anyway, I had them come on Wednesday and they did a nice job. If you want a decent price for a decent job, he's good. I don't think I would hire him again because I don't want to have to wait a month and go through all that just to get the work done.

Andy and his crew were prompt and efficient. They completed all the requested work and cleaned up completely when they were finished. Andy called me later that evening to confirm that I was satisfied with their work.

THE TEAM OF MEN WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND ON TIME. THEY CUT THE TREE DOWN, TOOK AWAY ALL THE BRANCHES AND THE STUMP AND CLEANED UP THE YARD. THEY ALSO TRIMMED THE PALM TREES, CLEANED UP THE BRANCHES AND RAKED THE SURROUNDING AREA OF DEBRIS. THEY DID ALL THIS IN A SHORT TIME. THEY ALSO CLEANED UP THE AREA WHERE THE RECYCLE TRUCK WAS IN THE STREET.
