About us

Our company has been family owned and operated by three generations. We have been at our current location since 1980. We work on all materials and can do varying degrees of restoration to suit your needs; from simply assembling broken items to complete restoration. We are recommended by Lladro, and Janet Hammer's "A Retired Collection", as a restorer of Lladro porcelain and have been featured in numerous articles in the Daily News, L.A. Times, GlassArt Magazine, and Best of L.A.

They are Ok, on the two items they did, it wasn't perfect but passable. They are inexpensive and are ok for quick and easy repairs and the price is reasonable for what you get.

I have taken many items to Rattay's over the years. They can make undetectable repairs to broken china, and can fix many glass problems. They most recently restored a Royal Copenhagen bird and another figurine for me. I have also taken them chipped crystal from my 27 years of marriage, and they have polished the rims so that the glasses look like new! They have also most recently replaced an irregularly shaped mirror in an antique frame. Their prices are not inexpensive, and their repair times can be on the longer side, but their results are wonderful.
