We could not be happier with our new back yard! We had talked to several companies, and Prime Gardens was the most creative, flexible and able to work within our budget. They worked up a design that had everything we needed for entertaining and lounging. They did everything from the concrete work, pergola design/build, overlays for existing cement, fencing, landscaping, watering system and lighting. They even built us a shed since we couldn't find one that fit our specifications. They were clean, efficient (minus the pause caused by our heavy winter rain) and always accommodating when we wanted to rethink something or change direction. And, importantly, always mindful of our budget. We've worked with other contractors and these are qualities I've learned to really appreciate. Ali and Sina are people you enjoy working with and it's clear they take pride in what they do. The crew was happy and did great work, often taking extra steps to make sure things are done right. When the time comes to redo our front yard, we are calling these guys again. I'd recommend them over and over again!

People showed up on-time and worked very hard. Several of the plants chosen did not survive. Probably could not take the high heat. Would have been better closer to the coast.

Went well all in all. No one does it as well as if I did it myself but this was the nest best thing. I would use the again!

Although I can imagine almost all aspects of house interior improvements, I’m unschooled when it comes to the myriad choices of landscape plants. So when I saw a Big Deal for a landscape design from Prime Gardens, I thought it was a good opportunity. The deal was for a design only, which was all I wanted. We made the appointment, and Zach came over. We walked all around the house (front and back), and discussed my interests and preferences for plants. I also asked him about using pavers in a dirt area of the backyard, and updating the sprinkler system as needed. He took a couple of weeks to do the design, then came back to explain in person what he chose. He explained which plants he liked for which locations, and showed me copies of the landscape plan he’d drawn. He later mailed me the original plans and a complete itemized list of which plants, how many of each and which size. He also what Prime Gardens would charge me to do the work. He did include the pavers, and improving my current sprinkler system to work with the new landscaping, including converting to drip system, and rerouting the valves. As I’ve studied their plans since then, the only odd choice I’ve noted, is that in front of the porch, Zach chose Salvia Mystic Spire, which grows 18”-30” or 3’-6’, depending on which source I checked. I’d want something lower (12”-24”) to not hide the porch. This plant also requires full sun, which the porch gets only a few hours in the morning. But that’s a minor detail, and I can make adjustments. I’m glad I had them give me a design, and for any work I may not do myself, I would definitely call them for a current estimate at that time. Their prices were a bit higher than I’d have expected, but not so high as to disqualify them from consideration. Zach was pleasant and professional. I very much appreciated the deal as a way to begin my planning, and expose me to plants I never would’ve know about otherwise.

The hardscape around the pool was great. Basically, they cemented the existing flagstones instead of having patches of grass and dirt around the pool. If the work stopped there, I would give them an A. Then they removed the brown lawn on the side of the house, created a drip system for the plants, capped the sprinklers and covered the area with gravel. The plants which were put in started dying within a couple of weeks and were completely dead within a month. I don't believe hydrangeas were the best plants for that section, but Ali said it would be great. Also, the sprinklers were not capped properly so I had to hire new people to fix that. Ali has not responded to these requests. I'm not thrilled with the gravel work as it looks messy and is mixing in with the mulch, but I will just hire a different company to fix that as well.

Came up with a well thought out diagram of all the desired design elements. Took in all of my requests and came up with a very basic little hand drawn plan created with colored pencils. (I expected something a little more visually exciting -- perhaps I expected too much for $50.) The only reason I didn't pursue the project is because my dreams were bigger than my pocketbook. Very nice company.

Prime Gardens pricing was competitive and they were able to start our project in less than a week of our signing the contract.  The team working on site, headed by Sina, was experienced, efficient and very professional. We especially appreciated the excellent on-going communication.  We always knew the state of our project and could anticipate each day's activities.  Because one or both of us was home almost continuously during the work, we were always able to see the progress and provide decisions and feedback quickly, whenever needed.  We had one delay mid-project, due to rain, but Sina still made it a point to visit us in person to apologize for the delay (unnecessary, given the rain) and to tell us when work would resume. 

We are very happy with the work Prime Gardens, Inc. provided and would gladly engage them for future landscaping and related work.

Ali gave a great impression with his first visit.  He seemed eager to get going on a quote.  After we signed the paperwork, he gave us a drawing.  My husband wanted to change a few things and Ali took the time to come back to our property and do a new lay out with him.  Sina was great with scheduling and calling back.  When we finished the project, our neighbor, who is downhill from us, was concerned about the run-off from the mulch/dirt that came onto her driveway.  I called Sina and he sent someone out that day to make sure there were no leaks.  The problem fixed itself as we concluded that the problem was from the initial watering with the hose after the mulch was laid down.  We haven't had any issues since. They are even great about coming out and making sure our timer gets changed to correct watering schedule (plants need more watering after they are first planted and then they have to be watered less often).  
Prime Gardens was very responsive and we got final approval on our lawn for our rebate!  We will use them again when we decide to do our backyard.

Sina and Ali were just great to work with. We felt the price was good for all that they did. They listened to our requests and got back to us quickly when we had any question or concerns. Super people and so easy to work with. Can't recommend them enough!

They stand behind their plant guarantee.  We had to have several plants replaced and Prime Gardens did it with no problems.  The two guys sent to our house were very courteous and professional.  They were also patient in answering questions we had about our plants and watering system.

Sina and his crew were completely professional in all of our interactions from the initiation of multiple quotes, recommendations on appropriate landscaping, all the way through the completion of at least 3 separate projects.  He was always a good communicator, was always punctual, and went the extra mile w/ regards to flexibility around my schedule and other contractors doing work at the same time.  I would recommend him and his team again to any of my friends and neighbors and have already done so!

It didn't turn out well. They said we needed to change the whole sprinkler system but it didn't sound good to us. We didn't go with it. I think we paid the 49 dollars but we called someone else who did a much better job. Their diagnosis was poor. I think they were punctual.
