Kevin came over, gave me an estimate for the job. He worked quietly, quickly and very efficiently. He was able to do the whole job for me. It all went perfectly. He cleaned up perfectly. Very friendly, helpful, with good suggestions. I have a new job that has to be done and I've already placed a call to Kevin. I recommend him highly.

Kevin helped me fix a faucet, he also installed GfCI outlets in the kitchen and carbon monoxide detector in my property currently occupied by a tenant. He was very professional, and punctual. His price was reasonable and he was great to work with. I'll definitely call him back if I need help in the future.

Kevin is just the best. I had him in previously to remove the nasty old carpet in the same rooms prior to having the oak floor refinished. It was during hot weather, and this carpet had been laid with what appeared to be miniature train tracks along the edges - really heavy duty old 50s hardware. I couldn't believe how hard and efficiently he worked. If he took breaks, they were so quick I never noticed, and he got the job done with minimal mess and cleaned up afterward - I couldn't have asked for any better work ethic or performance. In addition he's very easy to have around: quiet, focuses on his work, but is polite, friendly and appropriate in every way.
I knew within a very short time that I needed to have zero concerns about leaving him alone in my home to do his work. As it turns out, I was there the whole time, but as this trustworthy quality is rare and valuable, thought I'd mention it.
After the floors were completed, I hired a (top rated) painting contractor to paint the rooms, and they were an all-round nightmare in general. In particular, they used eggshell instead of semi-gloss on all the windows, doors and trim, in spite of our contract . Having to attend to projects at another home some distance away for several months, I was finally able to concentrate on completing our living/dining rooms and hallway. I decided that even though I'd paid for the and quot;highly ratedand quot; painter to do the job and when I'd contacted him, he'd said he would send the men back to repaint with semi-gloss, I just didn't trust them, didn't want them working in my home, and it was worth it to me to pay someone decent to do a good job without my having to trail behind them every second. While looking through Angies list for painters, I realized Kevin had also done painting jobs, and I was very relieved, as I knew he'd be able to take care of this without my having to worry about anything. Lucky for me he was available within a week.
What a good decision that was! As with the former job, he turned up prepared for the work, covered the new floor with the appropriate thick paper, carefully not leaving sticky tape residue on the walls or floor, covered his ladder feet with and quot;socksand quot; to prevent marks, and proceeded to carefully, methodically and properly paint my trim etc, and it not only looks 100% better, it's better protected against scuffs, etc. He did not water down the paint, and took exactly the time necessary to make sure the surfaces were covered well, without drips everywhere - an extremely detail oriented worker, which works for my very detail oriented eye. His one coat looks better than another painter's two coats.
Although I had particularly stressed to the painting contractor that the windows HAD to easily open and close so that our alarmed screens were accessible, they wouldn't open at all, so Kevin had to score them all and pry them open, then sand the contacts where necessary, and was able to repaint them so they now open and close properly. Several of the doors also stuck, and he was able to fix them as well.
One of the pocket doors was misaligned so that when it was closed, if no one was in the kitchen to open it for you, it was very hard to open from the dining room side. Kevin picked up a little guide while he was in Home Depot one night, brought it over the next day, installed it, and the door is operating properly now.
In addition, when repositioning one of the alarm screens, I mentioned to beware of one corner which had a missing piece of hardware which we kept neglecting to replace. He walked over to his truck and came back with the exact matching piece of hardware, screwed it into place, and thus took care of yet another of those annoying little house fixes. Yay, Kevin!
Kevin always showed up when he said he would, worked diligently and with expertise, left no mess at any time, and also thoughtfully considered and answered several questions I had about various other house projects, and was generally just incredibly patient and pleasant, which, in addition to the exemplary work, was gratefully appreciated.
While his truck was in our driveway, a family member actually backed into it, as Kevin was in the house packing up. Although there wasn't much visible evidence, I was truly amazed at his reaction. We were horrified and hung around inspecting his back bumper, looking for dents, which he insisted had been there previously. He was also dismissive of a potential problem with the bumper cover not snapping back down properly, and wouldn't hear of my husband paying him extra in case it needed readjustment. We have, of course, told him to call us if any problems develop, but please imagine how similar workers would react in this situation. Exactly.
This man is just a class act in every way, and if you need work done in this category, you couldn't go wrong calling him. I'm frankly amazed that someone who owns apartments hasn't put him on retainer or something - better call him before they do. Repairs and smaller but necessary jobs can be such a pain to deal with, and he just calmly and competently takes care of them so you can cross them off your list and get on with your life.
I don't know if he's the cheapest handyman, but who wants a cheap one? I want one who I can trust in my house, who does the job right the first time, and the 100% positive experience in every way is a major bonus. He certainly isn't expensive, and he does great work, so if I have a job, and he wants to do it, Kevin is the first and only call I'll make.

We have been using Kevin for the last five years and he is phenominal. He is very responsive to our requests, does the work fast, is extremely attentive to detail, work is ultra high quality, cleans up very well and most importantly is very reasonable. He has handled a wide range of plumbing, carpentary, electrical, wall patching, painting, garage opener repairs, etc for us. We recently asked him to remodel a room that included demolition, drywall, wall covering removal, painting, electrical, doors and locks and moulding. He did it for $5,000 plus $800 for materials.
We have been thru many handlymen and nobody has even comes close to Kevin. You never have to worry about reliability, quality of work or price.

I e-mailed Kevin to arrange for a date for him to install the fan. He responded immediately and asked questions concerning what exactly he was required to do and what would be involved. He arrived punctually at the specified time, and was cheerful and professional, as usual. I had thought that the right-hand fan was the one making all the noise, but when Kevin climbed up onto the roof, he reported that he thought is was the left-hand one that was the culprit. He then proceeded to replace the fan and level it, and when he had finished with it he went over to the second one and leveled that also. He did an extremely meticulous and professional job, and his price was incredibly reasonable. I would recommend him for any handyman work that needs to be done.

It went great. He steamed and scraped the wall[paper off and removed the glue from the walls after. All the switch plates were removed ,the heater vent plate and towel bar. I was difficult but he also removed the paper that was inside the shutter enclosures. I am very pleased with his work and cleanliness. He is very reliable, pleasant person and I will use him again. Thanks, Kevin.

He is absolutely wonderful. I would recommend him to anybody. He is very reliable and very honest. He does very, very good work. He's terrific and there aren't very many of them around. He shows up on time, which is very rare. His quality of his work is very good and if he cannot do something, he will let me know right away that it is beyond him. He will recommend somebody else. He is a very nice and pleasant person. He has also done work for my neighbor and he was very pleased. His prices are reasonable; they are excellent. He gets right back to me even if he is busy. He comes right on time when he says he will come. I will absolutely use him again.

I am particularly pleased with the foundation vents. Once the original vent covers are gone (in this case, torn off my dog) it's difficult to replace them with something that looks as good as the originals. Kevin built new mesh-covered wooden frames to fit into the vent spaces, and they look wonderful.

This is the third time Kevin has worked for us, and as usual, we are completely satisfied with his work. He arranged a time with us, arrived on time, and was able to do all the repairs we asked him to do. He aligned a bedroom door and its wall receptacle so that the door closed and locked properly. This took him about 10 minutes! He then took on the task of repairing a bathroom cabinet door that hadn't closed properly for 12 years. He realigned the hinges and repainted them. His charges were more than reasonable, his work was entirely professional, and he was extremely honest, friendly and accommodating. We told him that we were planning on moving in the near future, and he offered to check out the potential house for problems. We plan on continuing to use his services. We're very glad to have found him.
