I recently hired Florentin Construction to perform a fairly large remodel of a home I had just purchased. This project included a complete kitchen remodel as well as the remodeling of 2 bathrooms. There were also some smaller tasks completed, including the changing of carpet, installation of laminate flooring, and the installation of new interior doors. While I met with a number of contractors, I ended up hiring Michael because he seemed like someone I could trust and who I would enjoy working with. I am happy to report that I made the right decision. Michael has been superb. He completed the project in the specified amount of time (which was very quick for the amount of work performed), and impressed me with his honesty, integrity, and diligence. Above all, I would describe Michael as a perfectionist. He wants everything associated with his name to be absolutely perfect, and he never sacrificed perfection in the name of speed or cost. He had beautiful cabinets in the kitchen custom made to my preferences and he had the cabinet maker return multiple times until they were perfect. While all of the workers each day were courteous and professional, Michael supervised every aspect of the project from start to completion and really elevated the level of craftsmanship to the next level. I had a hard time keeping up with Michael, he has so much energy and enthusiasm for his work. Everyone who has seen my house has been blown away by Michael's attention to detail and passion for his work. The project stayed on budget and Michael took care of all of the little issues that arose without me having to worry about those little details. At the same time, he was sure to keep me up-to-date with the progress and also to include me in any big decisions. A number of small projects popped up during the course of the remodel that I ended up asking Michael to take care of. No job was too small for him, and he enthusiastically took care of everything. His attention to detail was evident from day one, even remembering to have the plumber readjust the kitchen faucet to my liking. It was refreshing working with someone who seemed to care about my house as much as I did! I can wholeheartedly, without reservation, recommend Florentin Construction for any job, big or small, that you might be planning. You will not regret your decision!
