Best Home Improvements

During the course of the electrical job, Best Home Improvement stated they found a leak under the tub in a bathroom. They were supposed to fix the leak however the company came in and tore out the entire bathroom (claiming it was an accident) They forced a complete bathroom remodel, they began telling us more work through out the house needed to be done. We would tell them no we didn't want things done and they next thing you knew instead of fixing what they started, they would tear out what you just told them not to do. Not a single item was repaired with what we ordered, they came in and used what they wanted to use.
Without a legal signed contract they collected over $62,080.00 and never completed the jobs.
They walked off the job after 8 months, stating the job was costing them to much money, yet they had payment up front, the bathroom was never completed, they tore apart the fireplace and left a major gas leak and never completed that job, they simply left it torn apart. The company could have completed the work in a matter of weeks. Instead they dragged it out trying to force more jobs and after 8 months every room in the house has some kind of incomplete job. They walked off the job 4/1/15 and our home is a disaster. Best Home Improvements scammed us, we are out $62,080.00 and in shock. After having another contractor come in to give us a quote on the damaged that they caused, to make matters worse most of the incomplete jobs never needed to be done in the first place and the jobs that actually did need to be done for safety reasons were never even started after 8 long months. Eli Shemer from Best Home Improvements is extremely dishonest and has destroyed our home. It's been over a year now and jobs that's should have taken days to fix are still not done. This review is only scratching the surface of what we have been through. Please do not use this company, we have never experienced anything as humiliating and financially devastating as what this company as put us through. 

We contacted Eli to perform some services on our home. We contact him because we feel that he is the top of the line. Eli came out and fixed some sewer lines underground he also did some wiring and electrical work in our home. He can do anything that deals with your house and if he is not able to do the work he able to direct you to someone who can perform the work for you. He follows up on all his projects. He always goes the extra nine yards to do the best work. The cost just varies on the work you are having done (and 50-70% of the work is negotiable). They always guarantee their work and want to ensure that you are happy. He shows up on time and if he is running late he will contact you to let you know ahead of time.

He works in the whole LA area. He was great and I would recommend him to anyone.
