Tom's Mobile Bike Service

Tom and Katy were wonderful. From first contact to completing the work, they were the best. Tom even took the time to show me how to use the installed equipment properly. I am a customer service trainer and this business hit all the high marks that I cover in my teaching -- listening, responsiveness, being on time, explaining what will happen and why, courtesy and respect. I use Tom and his business as an example of excellent customer service in my classes now. The price and timing were very reasonable. And, I didn't have to haul the bike into a bike shop. That is a big deal for me. I will definitely be using Tom' services again!

The whole process was better than I expected, from start to finish. My teen daughter's bike that she uses to get to and from school suddenly was out of commission. I called in the morning and spoke with Tom's wife, who called Tom, then called me right back- he was pretty sure about what was wrong by my description, and was able to come to my house a couple hours later. He had the part on his truck, and was able to fix it on the spot, for a much lower price than I expected. Tom was friendly and professional, and made the entire process quick and easy- it was so much easier than having to wait for the weekend and haul the bike in and drop it off for repairs! Thank you Tom- I'll be calling again soon, as my husband's bike needs a tune up!

Arrived in allotted time frame, calling about 20 minutes before he arrived. Wiped down frames, cleaned, lubricated and adjusted
derailleurs, brakes, and chains. Checked and tightened loose screws and 2 loose pedals. Trued wheels, inflated tires to proper pressure, and installed kickstand on one bike. Pointed out that front forks on one bike were installed backwards, and corrected the installation. Made suggestions on methods to transport bikes. Tom was very professional and took the time to explain what he was doing. We'll likely be reaching out for his services on an annual basis. It was very nice having him come to us rather than having to haul the bikes to a shop and leave them for a couple of days.

I cannot say enough good things about Tom's Mobile Bike Service!!! Katy (Tom's wonderful wife) called me back almost immediately to schedule my bike service. She wasn't even home at the time! She had noticed I sounded upset about my bike, as I rely on my bike to get me just about everywhere. Even though it was Tom's day off, she scheduled me for an early appointment the next day. Talk about great service!
Tom was punctual-having called beforehand to let me know he was within 15 mins of arriving. Tom has a wonderful personality-almost like you're talking to your friend, the bike expert! And he has no "attitude" about him-he's "real", and he and Katy are just the nicest people to work with.
After Tom was done, my son wanted Tom's help, with a problem he had with his wheelchair's tubes. Tom agreed immediately, and set about fixing the problem. He accepted no payment for his time spent with the repair. (and it took awhile, too). After Tom left, my son informed me I had "goofed" telling Tom exactly what he wanted…so sheepishly I called Tom back, asking him to return, and of course I'd pay him for his time.
When Tom returned, he fixed my error, and again, refused to accept payment for his time. And my bike is running perfectly-and I don't have to be worried anymore about not being tuned up! Tom's company brand of service, goes way above and beyond-especially in this day and age. I will continue to rely on Tom for all of my biking needs, and If you're wondering who to call for this, uber-convenient mobile bike service…definitely call Tom's Mobile Bike Service--they are truly SUPER!

Tom was punctual, professional and cleaned up both bikes beautifully. Put air in the tires, oiled parts and cleaned them up. He did not try to sell me anything extra. He was pleasant and friendly. I really appreciated the convenience of having my bike serviced at my home since I do not have a bike rake and find it difficulty to get to a bike store. Thanks Tom!!!

I have a Mongoose Mountain Bike that sat in the carport for 6 years unused.Tom arrived promptly, said the bike was worth saving and got it back in working condition. I have ridden it since he worked on it and am very pleased. I would definitely recommend this company.
