I've been using Plotke for the past 13 years.  They've always done exceptional work at fair prices and I'm extremely grateful for their services.  I have had emergencies and they've been there the same day.  They've helped save me money by troubleshooting things over the phone, so i didn't have to replace items that were easily fixed.  They're great.  Highly recommended!

Found 3and quot; of water in my crawl space due to a leaking hot water heater. Called Plotke. The office staff was friendly and responsive. They sent a crew out within a couple of hours. The guys arrived promptly at the time promised, dried out the crawl space, took out the old water heater and installed a new one within about an hour. I was delighted all around.

I discovered a pinhole leak in the copper pipe in the attic (dripping into a closet). Plotke came out at 8:00 am in the morning and was finished by 9:00 am. They had to replace a junction of 3 pipes of 2 different sizes that also made two 90-degree bends. They got it all done very quickly and I am very happy with the service.

He determined that the leak was underground, somewhere.

They did a great job. The person they sent was friendly, informative, and did the work as requested. He also provided advice.

I had Plotke out to my home twice, to repair hot water leaks under the slab....The hope was that the first repair (Sept 2012) would take care of the problem.... I observed the repair, and it look ok. Unfortunately, another leak made it self known...
I postponed trying to fix the second leak until Feb of this year, but did called Plotke back, after a leak detection company found it.
After more jack hammering, the technician located the hole in the pipe, and removed that section of pipe..He constructed a straight piece of copper with angled connectors, since it was not a straight line repair. It did not fit, and I was told he needed to use soft copper.. which he did not have on his truck, and had to leave to get it.

After returning with the soft copper, he made the repair, but in spite of using the soft copper, the connection obviously went in at an angle on one end, and the two pipes were not fully seated....I took photos and sent them to Plotke, who dismissed my concerns. A friend with some plumbing experience was taken aback when he saw the job that was done....the nature of the repair deterred me from the thought of using Plotke for any future work on my home.

I called to have a new kitchen faucet installed. My kitchen faucet handle
fell off so we couldn't use our kitchen sink. I called first thing
Monday morning and they gave me a 2 hour window from 11 - 1 when they
would be there. They were prompt and professional. Since I had already
purchased a faucet from Home Depot, they installed it and charged $90
for the one hour service call. They checked my bathroom sink and
reattached the popup rod which had come loose. They left all the faucet
warranty items for me. I was happy to be operational again so soon, and
my new faucet works great.

Plumber showed up on time and fixed. Short and sweet. No overcharges or hype! Nice guy too! You will like...

Overall, they are a good company. The price is right. They are very nice people and quite anxious to make it right.

Surprisingly, pleasantly

He is really good. He was real reasonable and we spent probably $185 the last time we used them. We don't feel like he is trying to rip us off and charge us for things we don't need. The prices are really reasonable and he comes out quickly. We trust what he is tells us and trust that he will get the job done right the first time.
